What do you think about throwing Dr. Who into Whedonville?

More and more Dr. Who threads are popping up - what do we think about throwing Dr. Who in with Buffy?

Am I completely off my nut for thinking it would be a good match?

Unless Joss ends up be executive producer for series 5 or whatever (hughly unlikely), then Doctor Who just doesn't fit. I'd never think to look 'Whedonville' for it.

As such, and putting aside a section of its own, then the general TV section is really all thats left.

Maybe if the Weta statues, etc take off and more custom work is done, etc then it may get its own section, but till then its best where it is.

The only other option would be a more 'british' sci-fi section, things like Doctor Who, Torchwood, Blakes 7, primeval (i'm sure there are others), but at the moment I don't know if there is enough from a 'collectibles' point of view (on this board at least), to go with that option either.

Someone suggested that - but the Marvel forum has a completely different attitude. I don't get the impression that Marvel fans have the patience for Who or Buffy/Serenity.

I'm finding myself drawn to the idea of a UK themed section for British TV/movie properties like Dr. Who, but I agree that there might not be enough collectibles out there to justify it.

Another idea might be to make a dr who, and general science fiction thread.

or just toss them into the aliens and robots section.
I'm still trying to find more on the marvel general comics crossovers.

Throwing it in Whedonville doesn't make sense at all. If anything, how about renaming one forum the "general movie" forum, then re-name the Whedon one the "General tv forum" and have it encompass the Whedonverse, Doctor Who, and whatever?

To me that makes the most sense.

This I think is the best idea. A Brits forum where Dr. Who, Potter and other UK Imports that seem to find their own threads popping up here and there in various forums they can all be consolidated. Hell Tonner's major licensed import is HP so they can go there too.
