Yup...I would have bet the farm on Hoth Leia being announced which was nice... but obvious...where was the surprise? Last year 4 figures announced and this year only one?? Boooo!

Yeah could have done at least one more for the Star Wars fans on their day ! Holding everything for SDCC doesn't make much sense to me.

Yeah this May the 4th is a bit of a letdown compared to other years so far. Only two new pre-orders from Sideshow and Hot Toys combined. I'm happy with getting Hoth Leia but I expected more.

Basically this year's May the 4th was more commercial marketing than product collecting Thought there would be more better deals but it seems more like an event that's more Social Media with announcements and banners than actually consisting of newer product.

This May 4th was worse than the last..Seriously Disney, should rethink all these promotional ideas every year.

Am I the only person here who expected little on May 4th and a lot more on May 25th, which is the 40th anniversary of Star Wars being released in theaters?

I'm not sure about them celebrating May 25th specifically for major product releases. I know the entire year as a whole(1977 to 2017) is the big deal; May the 4th is becoming a bigger and bigger deal each year(I assume they'll make it official soon enough); and then of course there's Force Friday for the Ep. VIII stuff. Hopefully you're right though since they still need to announce sixth scale Royal Guard and the quarter scale Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, etc, etc.

I have a feeling we'll see Jedi Luke at SDCC then some of the new quarter scales for Episode VIII on Force Friday. I'm with the guys who expected a bit more from today though, quite disappointed in the end.
