Well, the 30th Anniversary of the film is coming up in May.

I can almost guarantee you're going to see ALOT of "ALIEN" related goodness coming around that time.

Look for the Hot Toys version to be seen around then.

Yeah, I'd love to see the rest of the ALIEN cast. And, at least semi likenesses this time, if they can't get the full license for the actors' likenesses. Kane looked like Freddie Mercury from Queen. I wonder why John Hurt wouldn't release his likeness? Dallas looks just like a young Tom Skerritt. I am very happy with him. I hope to get him someday.

Yeah, and the original ALIEN monster has got to be "dead-on". With all of the great work Hot Toys has done on the other aliens and predators, I know that they can do it.

I remember reading somewhere, an interview somebody did with Hot Toys (think it was through Sideshow), and the HT guy said that the Alien will be revealed this year for the 30th anniversary.

HT ALIEN is a go.

Well it's been very quiet so far considering A L I E N is 30 years old in a couple of months. I was hoping for at least a sneak peek from HT and the film on Blu-Ray. I'm feeling very dissapointed right now.

Great thread! I think we'll see "Lucky Star" Ripley and the Alien this year as HT hinted they would be doing something for the 30th. And they will sell extremely well and each will become grail pieces.

I know exactly how they could 'improve the figure' -

A) make it film accurate unlike every other HT alien

B) make sure it can be assembled without the necessity for extreme force like the dog alien and

C) quality >>>>ing control!! Ensure it won't break and that the feet won't fall off by simply lifting it up
