I hope, but the thing is; this picture is a frontal shot without any obstruction. I could understand if it was only the profile or his face under the hood - this would appear to be quite close to what you are going to get.

That's a good question. They have the license for the movies, but I am not sure whether a separate license is required for the books. Besides, the figs are based on the movies, so you would think they won't include details from the book.

This makes me supremely curious, because they DID show a Palantir however it was the one from Orthanc and not Minas Tirith. Maybe a little rule bending? And besides, in my mind, Denethor died on that pyre like he was supposed to. PJ even admitted that the run was self indulgent. I wish he would have realized that in the first place (in my mind it's very very silly, even if a fantastic visual) and kept Denethor's death the way it was in the book. Much more tragic if you ask me. His burning up after realizing he was too far gone, just laughing like a mad man and rendering the Palantir all but unusable.

But this is about Faramir and I must say, I would rather have had the map but we may yet get it with.. was it Mardil or Damrod in that part of the film? I think the horn is a nice way to link the brothers but now it's a guessing game on Denthor assuming he is made.

I think its going to be a long time before we get a Denathor. I can think of over 20 characters that I would rather see.
