I bet there are some setting options somewhere.

Here's what mine looks like since yesterday...

I'm certain they don't.

But enjoy it while you can... the future is coming. :lol

Why are they showing you how many people are watching the auction? That's weird and something I only thought sellers could see. Have you tried looking under Account and then Site Preferences? :huh

Did you maybe opt into something?: https://garden.ebay.com/

I have no idea, I'm on with ebay now and they're telling me that I am a beta tester for the site and I cannot change anything for three weeks. Beta testers are randomly selected apparently. I'm holding for a supervisor now to end this madness.

The above is in fact the future of ebay. It will be testing for three weeks, then a period to work out the kinks and then they will unveil this to the world. Probably for christmas or beginning of the year.

I am giving all who venture into this thread a glimpse into the future.

OK, spoke to a supervisor. They take 10% of their subscribers and basically force this upn them with no way out and expect feedback about what they like and what they don't. They offer nothing in exchange.

I told them there must be plenty of beta tester kids who love doing this kind of sheet but I'm not one of them, please let me out of this. She said she could not. And could not offer me anything.

So, I need you help. If you have ever wanted to bone eBay... here's your chance.

I will be sending daily messages about my disatisfaction with the new site plan. I hope others will also.

Also, please post the picture of the "new look" everywhere you can. Let the cat out of the bag.

Honestly, other than not having the end date & time (which I can normally figure out myself anyway) the changes don't matter much to me.

So there we see the difference. I like the old way. They've added useless infomation (like "body parts & pieces"... but taken away useful info like the time/date the auction ends.

Body Parts and Pieces was always there, it's the 'item specifics', that's usually in a horizontal box on top of the item description. They've just repositioned the Item Specifics.

And perhaps the date and time the auction is ending will show up when it's more than 24 hours away, but goes away when it gets closer. When the auction says it's ending in 3 hours, I think giving the specific date and time it's ending is superfluous. As in, when it says it's ending in 3 hours, why would you need to know that it's also ending on September 30 at 9:15:22 PDT?

To me, it just looks like they're 'designing for the fold' that's all the rage in web design now. I know they sent out a newsletter a week or so back showing off their new logo (no more crazy font) so I assume they're just putting a fresh coat of paint on their ****ty car.

I know you'll probably slap me for this, but I think the re-design is more efficient. A lot more information 'above the fold', the big Amazon style search bar. . . I dunno, it just looks better to me. And as far as annoying ads go, every browser has a plug-in that will disable ads, so just install it and never be annoyed again.

:dunno

Why would they take out the date and time? That is beyond retarded. Oh wait, it's Ebay and something like this is expected. Never mind.

Personally, I find the end date/time very useful information. Each to his own.

I need this plug-in for explorer -- where is it?

Over on ebay UK they've just changed categories for no apparent reason. DVDs and blu rays used to be separate but now they're all lumped in the one category, mega pain in the arse. I emailed them about it and they sent some generic **** back about how they don't accept site suggestions.
The whole site is just a necessary evil because we don't have much choice.

What's with the broken statues being sold on there? I thought SS directs you to trash them in order for a replacement?
