P.S. After further research into this - apparently the Olivetti Spidey / Venom / Carnage trio are exceptions (artistic license) and meant to work together in display form. The Hobgoblin is not on Olivetti creation, and thus is slightly smaller - the same 1/5th as most of the rest of our Marvel comiquettes for display purposes. SINCERE apologies if my first answer was confusing - I do not own any of the Olivetti Spidey pieces, only our other Marvel Comiquettes (Wolverine, etc), so I was basing my 1/5th off of those, not realizing that the other trio was an exception!

Thanks Dusty for looking into this. Not the answer I was hoping for, but an answer none the less. Your response is much appreciated!!!

Thanks for the answer Dusty. Still would be great if scale would be included in the specs. Afterall the Spider-Man set are not the only exceptions to the rule that comiquettes are 1/5. Silver Surfer, Man-Thing, Namor....the list is pretty long.

:exactly: that's what i was thinking when i read the reply. spidey and his two villians aren't the only 1/4 scale Coms they've made.

I have passed along the desire for more scale clarification for comiquettes other than the apple and measurements. :duff

The only answer I know is that all of our Marvel Comiquettes are meant to be approximately 1/5th scale, while all our Premium Formats are meant to be approximately 1/4 scale. (some slight artistic/licensing exceptions may be made occasionally)

So yes, Hobgoblin is approximately 1/5th scale. :duff

Thanks for the reply Dusty, but there have been quite a few 1/4 scale comiquettes made including Ironman, Surfer, Namor, Wolverine, Spidey, Venom, Carnage etc. I love my 1/4 scale comiquettes and if they go only with the smaller 1/5 scale I will have to pass which would be a shame.

Dusty, please pass along that the smaller scale is why many of us are passing on this Hobgoblin as I would love a 1/4 scale one. Thanks.

:exactly::goodpost:

Some size comparisons would really help and any scale info on subsequent releases. It was good with Hulkbuster where they showed it with Hulk PF in the gallery

Dusty, I just noticed that the scale was added to the Hobgoblin comiquette product description as approximately 1/5 scale. Thanks for passing it on.

this great to finally get the info needed to know that it now doesn't match up with spidey and his already released companion pieces.:slap

NOW i wonder if a person can get the old NRD back since this whole thing has been somewhat misleading from the beginning.:dunno

I'm sure you will be able to do so if that is truly the reason you are canceling. Simply contact customer service and explain the situation and I'm sure they will be happy to issue a refund :duff

that's good to know, but damn i want this so much to even somewhat match with the others :gah::monkey2:monkey2
i think i'll still keep this anyways, that way when ssc drops the ES to 100 i'll look brilliant i say, just brilliant.:yess:

It's a great piece. Just saw it in person at the office the other day. I think if you are a fan of the character you will be very happy with it. And if you want to put it in the same display with the others, you could do some sort of diorama/force perspective thing, with the Hobgoblin in the back.

Wouldn't it have been easier to have done it the same scale as Venom,Carnage and Spidey? I'd have bought it then no questions asked and probably alot of other people would have.As it is it's too small to go with the others period.
