I would really like to see a Version 2.0 on certain Classic Monsters as someone else suggested. I've got poor Frankenstein's Monster lying about in between transformation into a more screen accurate representation and he ain't looking good right now.
I'm still waiting for Darkman! I find it funny that a Premium Format arrived while a 1/6 figure is? The film was a hit - even a modest hit on NBC, surprisingly (they aired it three times within about six months, the last two times about a week apart!) - but big enough to warrant a PM over a 1/6th figure? I'm hoping that's not the case and we'll get a 12" Darkman, too!
I really don't think the Indy line is dead, or many other lines for that matter, it might just be Sideshow's expansion as a company, selling so many other products now, resulting in less ability to focus on their 1/6 lines... I hope so. But I wonder how well some figures are selling. Sideshow's had some misses of characters that would have sold better had the likeness been spot on. A lot of people wanted a good Sean Bean sculpt and didn't get it with Goldeneye's Alex figure. I've noticed many responses from people here who won't buy a figure if the likeness isn't very good. I can't help but wonder how many figures ended up in clearance that would have sold out if the head sculpt was right on, or if a better body was used, or if the head wasn't too big, etc.
One sixth is about the only thing I collect from Sideshow. Keep them coming! Mola Ram! Marion Ravenwood! Short Round! Daniel Craig's Bond! Le Chiffre! Keep them coming!
