I like how it includes C-3PO ripping the Wampa warning sign off the door.

Ha Ha! I noticed that too!

That one was pretty bad, but very much in line with their original Star Wars teaser trailer:

What I meant was that the guy always plays the same kind of character. Take Solo and Indy as en example, they are exatly the same guy.

Still like his characters, but he is not a versatile actor, that's all.

Imagine if he had done the Blade Runner voiceover like that! :lol

I'll try not to :lol

Have to admit, I do still like the theatrical version of BR. All versions are great, but there is something nostalgic about the crime drama style voice over.

How are the Indy and Solo characters the same?

What I meant is that you're wrong, unless you're gonna start BSing about how do they relate to the Regarding Henry character. :huh

I dont follow you here..
I'm saying that most of his characters has the same personality Han, Indy, Deckard, etc..

But this could be said about many Hollywood actors.

Take Jack Nicholson for instance, great movies, loved most of them. But his characters are also very similar.

That's not at all what you said at all. What you said was:
My stand point is still that Harrison Ford cant act.
I love many of his movie's and characters, but he always plays the same role.

And you're wrong. Yes, many of his characters were "Solo-esque," but he's done other roles as well and has proven that he can, in fact, act.

Harrison Ford has not done much lately but come on, he's a legend.

As for the original question, I know they each got at least 1% of the film's gross on the first release and all future releases, including home video. They did very well.

Once they changed the title to Special Edition, it was legally a new movie and they did not have to pay them their cut anymore or pay Lucas' ex-wife. That is from someone I know in the business in LA.

I remember seeing an interview where they asked Harrison about it and he said they didn't see jack from the toys or other merchandise but see royalties from theatrical releases, including the Special Editions.

There is no difference in playing the role of Han Solo or the role of Henry Jones, since they are the same role in different settings. So what i said in those two posts are the same.

And yes, he has tried other stuff too, but I think those characters never was as good as when he playes he's usual character.

edit: But, come on, I love the guy. If HT or any other company gave out a Indy figure thats up to par with today's standard I would be the first one to pre-order it!

Not really. :lol He can act. Whether or not you think it's as good is irrelevant to what you stated about him. You said he can't act.

Hamill said on the Stern Show a few years ago that he gets a cut of anything and everything bearing his likeness.

Like Artie Lange saying he gets about $5k each year from the numerous showings of Elf during the holiday season, and he was in it for maybe 5 minutes.

Entertainment proceeds are unreal.
