My biggest disappointment is easily Luke Skywalker and Obi-wan. The head sculpts aren't close, especially Luke. That's fine though as I can wait for the ESB Luke to get my fix, but this is probably the only Obi-wan we'll get and they missed the mark. I wish they took the time to get it right.

My biggest complaint is that you have to be extremely cautious with them cheaply made hang pegs. That is such easily breakable garbage. Also don't tease us with something like for example the Batmobile and then don't do it.

The John Matrix sculpt for me. And I was looking forward to more Arnold figures like Conan, but not if the likeness is poor. I'm also concerned if Matrix sells bad because of the sculpt, they'll stop making Arnold figures altogether after the Genisys figure (but I guess there was already a chance of that).

- No Catwoman or Penguin from Returns
- No Arkham Joker

Sadly those disappointments will be same next(this)year...

No Ripley hurt. But I'm at the point where filling in what gaps in the collection remain will come as they may and I'm okay with waiting.

haven't been active on this forum for about 2 years

still no original predator :(

No Lone Ranger, i know it may not be mega popular, but what a flop only to release Tonto. Total brain shutdown from HT

Going to have to agree here. I'd have bought both had they produced Lone Ranger. I liked the movie and would've made a display of the two of them together. As it stands, I have no interest in buying Tonto just to display by itself. It's like making a 66 Robin and then cancelling the 66 Batman. It makes no sense making just the sidekick.

At this point I'm going to assume Ripley is never going to be released. :pfft:

Johnny Depp Tonto?.. in that movie The Lone Ranger was the sidekick..

I would have to say that for me the huge push of all the Star Wars figures at once and then feeling that each one of them could have been done better with more time and dedication.
I could not get Obi Wan because it just doesn't look like him.
I am ok with Han but he could have been a lot better and really only looks good in one pose (the promo pic of him shooting).
I hated Chewie at first showing but now I love the figure, especially after seeing him in the new movie... muzzle could have been much better though
I bought farmboy Luke and I had instant remorse when I opened him. Cool accessory load out but I already have two Luke's from the Bespin set and the sculpt is ok but not blow me away... once I put the poncho, floppy hat, gun and goggles on him I laughed and quickly put him back to promo pose with lit saber.
I have Leia on order and her showing at SDCC shows she has the best proto sculpt but not impressed by the outfit materials, hoping for better on release.
I have SSC Deluxe Vader and I like him. I like the reveal sculpt and separate helmet pieces so wish they would have focused on other figures
I have SSC Boba Fett, not the greatest but like above, wish they would do more needed figures (Tarkin? Dooku?)
I have not ordered any TFA stuff yet but wish they would have had the Driver sculpt with Kylo, he really deserved a reveal sculpt.

Commando looked crappy to me, love the character for nostalgia sake but could not buy it.
Robocop was one of my favorite films back in the day and I could not bring myself to buy anything from that line either.
The Marvel stuff looks cool at cons but could not bring myself to buy any of those either for some reason.

Hot Toys basically only got money off me for Star Wars but it was begrudgingly and filled with mixed feelings.

Increasing prices going with decreasing accessories and some qc issues on most 1st batches released. No new DX. Too many iron people and war machines. Too little cool characters.

People dogging the Obi wan sculpt need their eyes checked.

Yeah, you could say the same about all the HT sculpts as has been debated ad nauseum in the respective threads.

In My Opinion the Obi Wan figure looks like a great figure but not a close enough screen representation for me to shell out the dough. I could argue that I do like the Han sculpt, especially from certain angles but many have listed that here as their biggest disappointment.

Each to their own. Its your money and your collection but since the thread is about airing grievances I gave my opinion.
