What makes the Cy Girl 2.0 awesome is that the proportions are extremely generous without being ridiculous, and there is no compromise in articulation. They are built like women (meaning they have hips, for those of you in love with the TTF and Triad bodies) and there is no real limitation to natural posing.

I concur. I know many 1:6 female collectors and the CG 2.0 is "preferred", but due to it being not being readily available and inconsistency in skin tones and bust size due to them being parted out from scarce boxed figures or the "loose" supposedly new "OEM" bodies one may find on eBay that were never conclusively proven 100% without any doubt that they are indeed authorized/official bodies from TAKARA TOMY is what prevents them being the standard.

I prefer the ALPHA based on them being readily available with compromises, but if the CG 2.0 was readily available in abundance and in variety like the ALPHA, then there would be no comparison. It would be the CG 2.0 hands down.

In my opinion something like cy girl 2.0 is the furthest thing from realistic proportions, the overly synching waist and the breasts that aren't even anywhere near possible from a gravity standpoint.

The Eva, I will say again is the only realistic female body ever designed in 1/6 not even just overall shape but the design and system of articulation.

I look at all that cy girl, takura and even a great deal of the triad stuff out there and it's hard to find a realistic looking female figure. The ones SwedishHeat posted are among the ones that got the closest.

Female figures in 1/6 have a long way to go, they require completely different design and articulation than men as well as completely different material sourcing.

Most skin tight fitting outfits just end up looking dumpy. Like the black widow posted a few pages back, and if you look at the silk spectre or Alice from behind they all look like they are wearing diapers.

Then there is the whole hair argument, some times the real hair is better some times it just does not work.

Hot toys exclusive Sarah Connor, the new black widow are prime examples of how the real hair just looked massively horrible, but something like the sucker punch it sort of works.

A long way to go for female characters...

Pros and cons of these bodies versus those bodies?

I just got the Phicen specialty color which is the latest(?) of the series if I recall. Just wanna say they indeed step up their game on this one. The body is much more softer and convey a much more natural look compared to the previous bodies I got. The elbows are also bent by default meaning that the that the skin seems to be more less likely to bunch up at points. Great body overall! :yess:

While I'm not a fan of those personaly, I will say that if exposed joints bother you, and limited articulation dosn't, they are pretty hard to beat.
