How about Supernaturals! Those were some cool figures.
does anyone remember the robot figures with big suction cup bottoms rather than legs? They were about 6 or 7 inches tall. Can't recall the name now! Help!

They were called Robo Force. Max Steele was one of the characters, who was also the leader.
Max Steele
Has anyone mentioned Pirates of Darkwater?
Mine is more of a trivia question since I can't remember the name. I do know that this would be between 1979 and 1984, they were sold at Toys R Us. I had two figures and one vehicle/insect. (Not Sectaurs!!)
Figure 1: approx 3 3/4 inches purple in color. He looked like a cross between an ant and a human skeleton(GI Joe:RAH articulation). He had four arms with detachable orange "hands." The "hands" were tools...I remember a hook and a circle/ring but not the other two. The back half of his head was missing and his "brain" was showing...it was also detachable and it glowed.
Figure 2: approx 3 3/4 inches red in color. He looked like a humanoid lobsterish guy(GIJ:RAH articulation). Only two arms for this one. His "brain" also showed, but took up the majority of his cranium and it glowed. His most distinctive feature was his eyes...they were more like tiny hollow tubes.
The ship/insect was a dragonfly. It was black with two sets of 4 fused legs on either side. The legs folded up when flying and down when it was on land. It had translucent purple wings that would "buzz" (flap) when a lever/button was pushed. The head opened up to reveal a cockpit for one, where the purple guy would sit. When the cockpit was closed, the figure was not visible.
Never saw a commercial. Never saw a comic. The only other kid that had these was my next door neighbor. When I whipped out with the dragonfly ship, he took his toys home and I never saw them again.
How's that for obscure.
