I think the next p.f. will probably be a hero. I'm hoping for either Theoden in Armor or Eomer next. Sam or Gandalf the Grey would also be good.

Some of the pieces I'd like to see are...

Boromir PF
Reg Ed with sword
Ex Ed with swap out sword hand to hand with Horn of Gondor
Amon Hen base

Gimli
Reg Ed with axe
Ex Ed with swap out axe to double-sided axe
Mines of Moria base

Saruman the White
Reg Ed with staff
Ex Ed with swap out staff to hand holding Palantír of Orthanc
Orthanc base

Legolas Greenleaf
Reg Ed with bow
Ex Ed with swap out bow to fighting knives
Amon Hen base

I would like to see many more but these are high on my list (not in any order).

Those are some great Ideas
what about
Gollum
Reg Ed Gollum Head
Ex Ed with Smeagol head
Rock Base :monkey3

As simple as Gollum sounds I wonder if he'd prove difficult because of his hair. In 1/4 scale I don't think he'd look right without real strands of hair hanging down from his head and we all know how tricky real hair can be to accomplish.

Rock base from when he was fishing would be awsome!
Not sure if alt head could be done due to his lack of clothing.

I think it could be done though, just like on the lifesize gollum and smeagol...The hair strands seem to work out really well...I think all of the mentioned ideas sound great...Lets not forget though,

THE RINGWRAITH!!!!:rock :rock :rock

I really want Merry and Pippin! It seems like they always get the shaft in every line of LOTR toys/statues/ etc.

Other than that I would love to see a Rohan in armor, preferably Eomer. The mix between chain male and leather would be amazing, yet probably economically impossible for them to do.

Yea Merry and Pippin don't get alot of Glory in LOTR Collectible lines
And an Eomer with Chain and Leather would be great :rock

Unfortunately, the chain mail will be made of polystone. And no, Merry and Pippin don't get alot of glory and doing a Merry statue with him holding a bunch of vegetables and Pippin crapping himself on the steps of Minas Tirith doesn't help. A Merry and Pippin PF will have to be done extremely well [likeness, costuming, etc...] or they simply will not sell.

A Ringwraith PF could be a disaster if they don't pick the right material and have the robe hang right in reduced scale.

It would basically be like making an entire PF out of Thor's cape, and look where they went with that. When it needs to be highly stylized, flowing and atmospheric, a wire or two just doesn't do the trick. The full polystone Morgul Lord was fantastic, and I think it would be next to impossible to precisely replicate that look with real fabric.

i hate you!:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2:monkey2

don't listen to him he's loco en el coco.:D:monkey3

I think for the ringwraith they would have to use some black crepe-like material embedded with some stiff wire to make the cloth hold the desired shape, but I don't think it's impossible by any means.

The hard part about a Legolas is what pose he will be in. His bow is classic but his knives are very cool also. He will be somewhat of a challenge to execute pose-wise.
