if you dont mind, how much did that cost? Ballpark figure is cool. If you dont want to say thats cool as well. I have wanted to build a similar setup in about 6 months when my pc from 1999 gets outdated lol. I think that is 1 of the nicest setups i ever saw.
I would prob. go with a less extreme setup as i just download porn, music, and burn dvds.

I would say it can easily run you under $500-$600 for parts, meaning you don't get the over the top processor or graphics card and hard drive space is cheap.

My case was around $300 though

cool. i think the case actually makes the setup look great, so that is money well spent to me. I am really impressed.

Based on your build, would an average person be able to get the hardware setup on their own? I installed my own power supply in the past and a few other minor things, but i feel like i would enjoy the challenge of building something a step below your pc.

It really is pretty easy, I mean it's been more of a profession and what I went to school with hardware and software development as a programmer but I believe anyone can build their own PC and it's a pretty cool experience once completed, its almost more fun building it than rather when it's complete. That first step of hitting the power button and it actually functioning is a pretty sweet feeling

I've built several from this one but it's been a while since this one so it was great to get back into the PC hobby.

Parts:
PSU (Power Supply Unit)
MOBO (mother board)
CPU (processor)
Memory
Harddrive
Graphics card (optional if MOBO has am internal)
Sound card (optional if MOBO has am internal)
DVD ROM/Burner

Those would be the basics along with what type of case...

You know what is my next plan is to get a LCD screen that fits in the three extra spaces of the 5.25 bay trays and I can hook that up to a remote cam that will watch the wife and I's lil one whenever we do decide to have kids.

Finally got the holy grail of my young 1:6 hobby - a Hot Toys Rambo 3, thanks to jpc_art (Jeff):

Congratulations bro! It's an awesome figure. And really very rare! I've always wanted to collect 1:6 figs of iconic movie characters, I hope to get this someday. Nowadays it's selling 2x the original price, I guess I'll just have to wait for Hot Toys to make a new one probably based from the 4th movie.

I finally got a Bossk to complete my bounty hunters, and my vader. These have went under the radar for most, but are the best rendition of these characters to date as a whole. Alot of Koto's have been bad with human models, but these are dead on. :maul
