My 5 year old plays halo and I don't think nothing of it he even watches the freaks play and gets mad when I tell him he can't play with us. He picks up on the stuff I say on there and asks me where does Ill Jedi live and what is Badmoon saying. I even caught him yesterday playing the halo campaign with my mic in his ear and he was pretending to play with us. He kept on saying look out Loki. Maybe I can catch him doing it again and record it and post it on here. He knows its a video game and it ends at that. He had the same question in school this year and he said he wanted to be a professional wrestler.

My answers:

  • A Cyborg Ninja
  • Boba Fett
  • Superman's Cousin

That is so awesome! Any ideas on where you might have gotten "Cyborg Ninja" from?

I don't know what I said for an answer back in the day, but I hope it was something along the lines of "Cyborg Ninja" :rock

Lol. I hung out a lot with my older cousins (13, 14, 16) most who were into comics and other sci-fi so I assume from there somewhere. My drawing of a Cyborg Ninja really is funny though, its basically Stormshadow from GI Joe with robot arms and legs or what a 5 year old considered robot parts.

My mother has my kindergarten "When I Grow Up" drawings still in a memory book. We for some reason did this activity three times in one year, once in the Fall, once in the Winter and once in the Spring, I can tell based on the "background" paper the teacher gave us to draw them on. My answers:

  • A Cyborg Ninja
  • Boba Fett
  • Superman's Cousin

Really nothing comes of it, although my mom still laughs and asks me if there are a lot of opportunities for Cyborg Ninja'ing in my classroom....

So your a Cloned Bounty Hunter Ninja afraid of Kryptonite??? :D

I want to be irish jedi when I grow up. He knows tons of famous people.:monkey5:monkey5:monkey5

Man, I was really lame as a kid. I wanted to be a garbage collector!!! :lol :lol :lol And then after watching the Omen I and Omen II as a kid, I thought the devil was sending me telepathic messages to worship him and become his right hand of evil and bring about the world's destruction. Which made me feel like I was important...but also scared the hell out of me. I finally told my Sunday school teacher who totally freaked out and told my parents. My parents stopped letting me watch horror movies, which was probably a good thing. I was too young and it was warping my mind. :lol :lol But video games were always a big part of my childhood. As long as the child knows the difference between gaming and reality than it can be a great way to escape or let out your frustations. I still play games for that very reason. :D

I don't think I was much better Jen. I wanted to be a therapist. What kid wants to grow up to be a therapist? Jeez, I was a geek even then. :lol

What's the difference between a famous person and a normal person? I never understood what the big deal was.

If you have to ask that question then you're a normal person

Oh, by the way I wanted to be a scientist when I was a kid, so lame. And then I didn't know what I wanted to be. And then I saw Star Wars and decided I wanted to do 3D animation in movies so that's where I am now.

And I hate science.

Eh celebrities are over-rated. My dad's an actor and knows a bunch of people but it's not like it's a big deal, they're just over-paid people who are otherwise like the rest of us. I'm never really impressed if somebody knows somebody and makes a fuss because they're "famous." I'd rather know somebody that actually means something to me than somebody who millions of people know by name just because they're in movies. Of the famous people I have met (not many of course), I've never been all hyped-up "look it's so and so!" When you think about it, it's kind of weird that society makes such a fuss over people just because they're big names. Why are we impressed because somebody knows somebody else? Shouldn't we be more concerned with knowing the people around us than with knowing people we never interact with?

Anyway, sorry 'bout the philosophical meanderings. I's sure the kid is just fine, after all how many kids have at one point said "I wanna be a ninja turtle" or "I wanna be Darth Vader." It's a normal part of a kid's life. Now, to be so coherently specific about the details like this little guy, that is kind of impressive and scary all at once.

I'm sure it's fine.

The only famous person I'd like to know personally is Kate Beckinsale! :drool

Oh and maybe Keith and Klauder. :rock :rotfl
