While we are on the subject of robes... Any one going to try switching heads? I may put my ROTJ robes on the Mace Duel Palpatine, just for fun to see a Phantom Menace vibe...

You could put the Hasbro ROTJ robe on Palpatine and switch his head for the Yoda duel head and have a pretty good Sidious when he says "rise".

I'm going to snag a regular edition so I can put Sidious' head on Palpatine for the Christening of Darth Vader scene. Then, I'm going to grab a Hasbro ROTJ Emperor for cheap, put that robe on Sidious' body, and put the Chancellor Palpatine head on there as well for a TPM/AOTC Darth Sidious.

I wanted the lightning but if we get a ROTJ Sidious stick it with that. These items are quite alright as they do add a nice twist on the figures. Then again I enjoy the EU knowledge of the two pieces.

I cannot stress how lame Sith Lightning would be. It would have to be really really REALLY spectacular to convert me. Otherwise it would just end up looking like an unleashed figure.

The thing is I think Sideshow could have pulled off something decent, better than the unleashed figure. They can make a holo-sidious they could make sith lighting. These are toys the lightsabers don't look real but would you really be happy if they did away with them? No and the same can be said for the sith lighting, I am sure it would not have been perfect but come on these are toys after all. I don't think they did not make the sith lighting because it would have cheapen the toy at all, they either plain forgot or rushed it and had no time to develop lighting. He blasts the sith lighting a lot more in ROTS then Jedi so for me the figure (even though it looks great) is lacking.

I don't think it would add to the packaging size depending on how it was done; if it was flatter like the Hasbro figure had, it could just be tucked in back of the figure's blister with ease.

I'm fine without it being included, but at the same time it wouldn't ruin my day either. If it looked good I could use it, if not it'd just stay in the box.
