I've watched Terminator 4 several times and I've yet seen a endoskeleton that I could tell was a T-700. The big endoskeletons were all 600's, I know this becauce every time one was in the scene that metallic vibrating sound was made. Even in the factory assembly line scene, John and Kyle both say that the endoskeletons are "800's". So where were the 700's??

I think Hot Toys called them 700's based on pre production references. I've only seen that film once but doesn't the 'Arnie' 800 end up with that pitted charred look at the end of the film? Maybe its based on that...

nope.

T 700s were lying on the battle ground as props.

It's nothing HT created, Playmates also produced T700 figures.

T 700 is an official release. Heres the concept pic of the terminators, along with the height:

T700 is second from the left.

Interestingly enough, the T700 was supposedly to be as tall as HT's T600 height. While the T600 is somewhere around SS Darth Vader 1/6's height.

According to the TS Official Movie Book (pg 80-83), the T-700's were built and appear in the film in the factory. The scene was incorrectly overdubbed with Connor's line identifying them as "T-800's." The only T-800 in the scene was the Arnold endo that is hiding behind the hanging factory T-700 endos. The T-700's have a textured metal surface that distinguishes them from the smooth chrome finish of the T-800.

i thought all terminators which were in the production-industry, were those t-700

the only t-800 was the prototype of arnie

but who knows if it was also a t-800. never read that it was a t-800. his shiny look could come also through the heat and melted iron...

Skynet was already manufacturing T800s in that factory. It was mentioned a couple of times in the movie. I just watched it again last night. They were no longer making T700.

Weirdest part was when T800 arnie ripped apart T600 in half, like it was a piece of paper!

Wasn't the Terminator with missing legs that went after Connor in the copter a T-700? If it was then it would have been it's only appearance though.

That terminator was making the same metallic vibrating sound all the T-600s make, so I believe it to be a 600.

That was definitely a t-600.

Im hoping that the DVD is a directors cut and can explain some of this.. Im also hoping that they show all the parts that were in the trailers. I want more Arnie.. What about the scene in the trialer where hes ripping off the 600's arm with the mini gun. I hope the DVD will be rated R, with lots of extras.

I really wish people would stop showing that picture, it's concept art...

The T-700s almost look identical to T-800 endos, but they have a rough finish and metal teeth because they are basic footsoldiers and not designed to have flesh cover them...

Kyle and John could have easily been mistaken as the endos are near identical and they weren't exactly gonna hang around to check...

That half endo that attacks John near the downed helicopter is a T-600...
