Which Captain America uniform/shield do you prefer?

I think the stripe change had more to do with design. The stripes on issue 1 are off, and not really in any order. It looks bad, regardless of accuracey.

Bucky would be a nice comiquette. A good accompanyment, he a serious part of the Captain America mythos just like Robin is to Batman....love him or hate him. I do want a PF of the Winter Soldier though, that one would be sweet!

I'll have the best of all worlds:

Display him with hood on face, and round shield, stepping on the German helmet. Then, to garnish it, I will put his WWII shield on a plaque stand on the side with Ultron's helm beneath it. Now all I need is to find a nice Captain America Comic cover that kicks @ss!!! So, the only thing in the box will be his WWII head.

Anyone have an idea what's the best cover and where to get it cheap? You think Comic-Con might have vendors sporting any of these comics???

Modern all the way. I didn't bother with the exclusive, because I knew I'd never display him in his WWII appearance. Just not really into that look.

Yet the Bowen WWII Cap looks really cool to me for some reason...

Please tell me I am not the only one who thinks the Ultimate Cap is Ultimate Captain America?
I love both choices but the while the original look is iconic, the Ultimate Cap looks like the most feared soldier the USA has to offer.

Ultimate Cap is cool, just not my fav. It's more realistic I guess, yeah, but comics AREN'T realistic, the cheese is part of the fun factor for me. If everyone tried to look "bad ass" I'd be so bored. But Ultimate is great. Not a big dif. but enough.

Now that I have mine in hand I KNOW how I'll rock it first. Modern head, classic shield and base. That classic sheild is just so cool!

Personally I'd love to get an Ultimate Cap in the same pose maybe with Ultimate Hulk underneath him instead of the rock base and his foot on Hulk's head. I'd line up all of them.
