If you are going to fault GG for that stuff, I don't see how you can overlook Pam Voorhees, Aragorn, Anakin's lips, etc.

I would have to vote Sideshow (though GG would be my second choice). Some things get through that astound me (like Anakin's arm, lips, and Eyebrows... and a ton of other things actually).

But I really feel Sideshow is tops in everything else. Especially in customer service.

Have to go with Sideshow as well. It seems I am returning so much these days and not because of breakage but things that happen way before the product even ships to me.

The more stuff you buy from a company, the more likely it is that you'll get an item you're not happy with. Considering SSC puts out a lot more stuff and a greater variety, it's not really a fair poll.

What's wrong with the comment though. It's very true. I mean the more Ford cars you buy the more likely it is you'll get something wrong with one same goes with HT, Medicom, etc.

I have about 12 sideshow figures and about 7 of them had to be returned for lazy eye, poorly glued jedi belt accessories, paint smudges, etc.

I have easily 12 Hot toys figures and havent had to return one yet.

I have eaisly 12 Medicom figures and havent had to return one yet either.

i think its a fair poll, all of the companies put out there fair share of product. ss just has poor qc. their customer service is awesome but if they had better qc in the first place we would hardly need customer service for breakage and what not.
i literally received an emma frost with a putty glob and no paint on the boots@#!@#!#$@# how does that even happen?
i buy product from every co. and lots of it. like i said before i never recieved as many flawed items as i have from ss.

at one point i had about 20 bowen fs and 60 bowen busts and never had a single issue . i know thanos fs had a paint flaw but mine was mint. i think ss needs to step up qc

Well, for one Gentle Giant cranks stuff out pretty quickly and they have quite a few lines and I don't hear near the issues with them that you do with Sideshow.

On the other hand if others buy a majority of stuff from other companies then it would balance out. In theory anyways, probably not so much here given that this is a sideshow board. Either way, I'm a little of the opposite I only own two Gentle Giant things and one is the "Ugly-Wan" so 50% of my gentle giant stuff looks bad compared to a small percent of my sideshow stuff that has little imperfections. I do count Anakin as a Ugly Wan sized error though. The cape on my PF Vader is messed up too, and I would have sent it back to get another, except I didn't notice until after the 30 days (so I blame myself for that as much as sideshow). Really those are the only two things I can complain about other than a few minor (to me at least) things.

i've never had to return anything to SS(besides something broken in transit) out of about 35 pieces. i guess we all have different experiences.

Well, for one Gentle Giant cranks stuff out pretty quickly and they have quite a few lines and I don't hear near the issues with them that you do with Sideshow.

I've read plenty more issues with GG than SS from other boards I post on including GGC. So as someone said it will vary from collector 2 collector.

out of my 15 or so ss pieces 3 were damaged. 4 if you count the hulk pf with the paint rub that i never noticed but now bugs the hell out of me
