For me, '04 Dawn of the Dead I could watch over and over and over again, follwed by TCM and then the Hills. I will have to wait until the new Friday the 13th comes out before I can comment on if I can watch it over and over without a good month or two break. I love The Thing and I could definitely watch that a lot as well.

I agree DOTD is an amazing movie! :rock gory as hell

Too bad I can't vote for John Carpenter's The Thing. By far the best remake ever!

tcm and f13 are tied for me......halloween was meh. I think THHE had a great survival feel to it. I love the scene when the guy gets the crap kicked out of him by the dude with the razor belt....he's laying there and you think he is done, but he opens his eyes, looks at his wedding ring (on his half-severed finger),realizes he has gotta save his kid, and he just GETS UP....that was definitly the "Rocky" moment of Horror movies.

The Hills had great character developement also. I saw the original the other day and just didn't feel it. It was so acted and just horribly bad. The remake was way better and it was so brutal. When Pluto jumps through the wall and you're thinking he was at the door and the way he just tore that guy up by throwing him through walls and cutting off his fingers with an axe was brutal. I love that movie!! :rock

agree with others who listed:
-the thing
-dawn of the dead
-the blob

also wanna add:
-the fly
-quarantine

I still cant watch the fly......I can handle gore pretty well...but not vomit

Gotta go with Carpenter's The Thing, Enjoyed the TCSM remake and thought The Hills Have Eyes remake was better than the original.

Now that I think about it, I enjoyed the My Bloody Valentine in 3D remake more the F13th. The 3D was spectacular. Without it though, I'm not sure I would have mentioned it.

Is Texas Chainsaw The Beginning worth a watch? It just sort of passed me by. What do you folks think...required viewing or don't bother?

I loved it. It's friggin' brutal as hell and just gory. I liked it more than the remake. Some ppl didn't like it but that happens with every movie. Give it a shot. :D

For me it was alright. It was cool to see how things started but not much else was there. I definitely liked the remake more.
