So far Iron Man
All of them, except for Maria Hill and Nick Fury
I've jumped ship from Ultron. Can't believe what a giant ****** they made him look like.
Still in for Vision. No longer certain if V1 Ultron and a drone make sense w/o a "proper" Ultron to progress to. Will have to ponder and hope there is some secret Ultron that actually looks imposing and sinister instead of like a giant *********.
My vote is now invalid. Due to the recently released trailer I have determined that everything is a must .....except HB. Too expensive

Agreed. As cool as the Ultron sentry drones look, they're just drones. I want a proper, badass-looking Ultron.
I enjoy your posts in regards to Ultron's history and design, but these iterations honestly don't evoke the character to me at all, or even a threatening villain, for that matter. Not very inspired, IMO, and I'd be stunned if years from now it's looked upon as a classic or something that is referenced. When it comes right down to it, I think it's a poor robot/adversary design, not even speaking specifically about Ultron. That said, I'm excited to see the movie, and Ultron's representation doesn't bug in that respect. How does it look like a "giant *********" though? I know it's not your preference of design but you make it sound like they completely effed up Ultron's design when various elements of his design are still pretty in line with how he's been depicted throughout the years...

That's the thing though. It's easy to argue that something looks terrible based on design alone. Take Heath Ledger's Joker for instance, the casting and overall look was met with lots of negative reception due to the "greasy" hunched look being a huge departure from the comics. That all changed when we saw how Ledger carried himself in the film, and any misconceptions about how the design initially came across ("emo-looking" according to some people's words back then) were instantly put to rest when we saw him put up such an outstanding performance.Ultron being cemented in film history will have everything to do with Spader's portrayal in voice, and the script -- not his physical design. I see what Invictus is getting at with the '****** bag look' stuff, I think he could have been designed way better as well, but like everything else in my collection, it will be the quality of the film and portrayal of character that earn figures spots on my shelves rather than costume and character design. To each their own, though
