Bespin Lando by far.

I'd like a Skiff Guard Lando eventualy to go with Jabba but I have to have a Bespin Lando no matter what.

Skiff Lando al the way!
I vividly remember playing with my Kenner Skiff Lando in the front yard on a Saturday and losing his helmet. I then spent half an hour looking for the damn thing before my dad mowed the lawn. I never did find that helmet. :(

Definitely Ladies Man Pimp Daddy Lando with Colt .45. And I'd also be down for some Nighthawks Billy Dee as well.

There is two things I need in life and this thread. More cowbell and the administrator of this facility.

Agreed, Skiff Lando. I love the costume. And Bespin Lando was a cowardly ponce. I'm sorry, but no love for the guy who sold out his friends and macs on Leia the whole time knowing he's going to throw his best buddy to the wolves. So there.

Oh, and Screamin? That happened to me too. Bu with a Tusken Raider. We did eventually find him, though. Mostly.

A friend of mine put his Kenner Yoda , back in the eighties , on a small toy boat and sent him "off to sea" while at a local beach. Yoda disappeared, never to be seen from again!!

Never been a huge fan of Lando...sorry:( . He just seemed liked a character that was "forced" on us.( no pun intended)

Han: " I know where we can go, Lando!".
Leia: " The Lando system"?
Han: " He's not a system, He my old college roommate!"

I know that this going to create havoc...but it's my opinion. ...

Sorry to hear that you feel that way.

Now I pose this question to all.... Does Bespin Lando come in the Scum and Villainy line, or Heroes line??? Hmmm...
Of course he'll be in the heroes line. Unless SSC makes a "Scoundrels, Gamblers, and card players" line!!

That was a very decadent remark you made there Dave! But then again, we're used to it! :D

No it wasn't. I was stating the truth. Van Peebles is a poor poor-man's Kurgan.

Oh, come on Mikey! You know that the fact he made a deal with the Empire, and corrected his decision afterwards makes him such an interesting character! Perhaps even THE most interesting character in the entire OT, from a drama point of view. - Not that I'm saying it's ok to betray your friends - But when Lando made the deal with Vader, he didn't even know Leia, and we don't know much about the relation he had with Han. So, calling them 'friends' might be a bit exaggerated. But I understand you don't like the Bespin Lando. So be it! (hey, where's the blue lightning coming from?!).

That's all very true. Plus, there was obviously some falling out between Han and Lando, hence Han's nervousness at his reception.

All Lando was told most likely was that Han Solo was to be "detained" for questioning. He didn't know about the whole Carbon thing. And he did have to protect his people on Bespin. I'd say he was more of a Solo-type scoundrel put in a tight squeeze...who ultimately made the right decision.

His character was really there to do the same thing Han did in ANH -- to turn his back on his friends... and then have a change of heart.

That's exatly what I had in mind!

Right. Which is why, as you said, Bespin Lando is far more interesting as a character than General Lando, who's only complication is that he can't always understand his co-pilot.
