Which Lines Aragorn looks better, Sideshow or Weta?

first of all: Didnt we already have this in a thread? and second i say sideshow's PF is the best but he used a really bad pic for the 12in figure. i like the sculpt of my aragorn 12in. i think he looks close to perfect.

Undoubtedly, Sideshow's PF is the best I've seen yet. But it is still premature to say that considering no one (the majority of us poor sobs, anyway) has seen it in person, much less the actual, shipped, mass produced product.

Sideshow, hands down. I always felt like Weta failed in many of its likenesses, and in person they are never what you hope with a few exceptions. However, the Sideshow 1:6 is a great likeness, and the PF is dead-on perfect. As far as Aragorn's likeness goes, Sideshow is a total winner.

Of course, that's just my opinion. Everybody is free to disagree of course.

How about this . . .the sculpt goes to SS PF . . .until the production is officially out, and we can confirm that nothing changed, and the paint apps are perfect or surpasses the original.

Yeah i agree.SS PF no doubt but id give Weta Ellessar statue the next best.

Id have thought with all the technology available these days that some of the attempts of Aragorns facial features would have been a bit better.But who am i to bag and what do i know.

as long as the p.f. turns out as good as the prototype looks then that is the best likeness.

I also think the Elessar statue turned out really good.

The Sideshow PF and NECA's Epic Scale figure are teh bestest. They look just like him.

Everyone seems to forget about NECA's version.

SS should be better since its 1/4 not 1/6, its a bigger scale. But SS does a great job with all the PF's, their 12 inch figures usually have problems.

Yea, I would agree with the PF, even though I don't think any of them really look like Viggo. He's got an odd look that is hard to capture. If he had a gigantic forehead, then the Cinemaquette would have captured that

I think the PF is the best, although I like the static King Elessar statue too.

I agree. The Sideshow PF proof looks very nice but so did the Sideshow 1:6 scale until we got the production version that was waaaayyyy different.

The Sideshow 12 inch's hair.....and the CM's forehead. Plop'em down on a GG Aragorn bust and man you're talk'in Viggo baby!

Since I'm not a customizer, I guess I'll go with the PF!

The sideshow PF is almost perfect. But I have to say the SSW-bust is very nice too!

If I had to choose, I would also say the sideshow PF is better.
