Although we're on a forum of sci-fi geeks I'm delighted to see T2 holding its own against the mighty Shawshank Redemption.

Voted Matrix since it was so amazing when it came out. Shawshank is one of the best of all-time but it wasn't groundbreaking like The Matrix.

Surprised at the T2 votes, it's a distant 3rd for me and I loved it as well.

I think it had the biggest impact to cinema. It changed the thought process to story-telling across the board.

that's probably it. You made me realize, that thread was going pretty crazy before. So yeah I think it was the Noah thread and not WD. you are probably correct
