What a fun poll. Do this one next:

Who do you think made the best Indiana Jones?

1. Neil Boulane
2. Corey Carrier
3. Sean Patrick Flannery
4. Harrison Ford
5. River Phoenix
6. George Hall

Where is Tom Selleck? He played him during screen testing.

Actually, I put this poll up because someone seemed to object about me making the generalisation that most people would prefer Chris Reeve's version outright. But then I realised that it was still a valid post because one of my friends automatically named George Reeves as his personal top pick. Now, having bought and watched all of GR's Superman I can understand the fondness for him...and he was the first full colour, live action, actually see him flying (ie, no switch to animation) Superman that anybody ever saw. And in their own homes to boot.

The poll stands on its own merit. You don't have to vote if you don't want to.

I think this thread is worthless. Revisit same time next year.

Why? I'm certain this same time next year there'll be at least 9 of them anyway. :lol

Who's the best superman?
Who's better? Cavill's Superman or JGL's Batman?
Is Superman better than Nolan's Batman?
Who's your favorite DC movie hero?
blah blah blah....

Christopher Reeve is my favorite by far and I don't expect that will ever change.

I enjoyed George Reeve when I was little but now when I see his episodes I can't help but feel sad for the guy. Nobody paid a higher price for playing the role.

Great (if slightly long) film about Reeves and how the character filled his life. Really sad/touching part at the end where Adrian Brody's character is reviewing all the possible scenarios...

...over Reeves' actual death...murder or suicide, and you can see him conclude that it probably was suicide after all.

Spoilered just in case.
