Getting home ALWAYS sucks! Always! No matter when I leave it ends up taking me 3-4 hours to get back to Burbank. It's unreal! ONe year there was a fatal crash on the I-5 North and I got stuck for like 3 hours without even moving an inch. Totally blew!

Did you stop, to check on....... all the exclusives lying around in the wreck? freebies!!

For all those trying to find rooms, don't give up hope. Last year I got our room maybe a few weeks before convention and payed very little. Well ok it was kinda in the Ghetto but we ended up in a 2 bedroom suite. You might not be super close but with people here who will be driving, me being one of them and the train youll be able to get there.

Me-thinks we stayed in the same place last year! Our motel was a wee bit of a stretch but we were never there. I thought about laying out the big bucks to stay within walking distance this year but it's a little rich for my blood. I'd rather sink my money into all the schwag I'll be taking home! The room serves one purpose for us - a stopping point between days to rest and shower!

driving around Downtown SD is like watching a mice find his way out of a maze. You may even end up going the wrong way and get into an accident. There's trolleys and shuttle buses. Take advantage of those.

Yeah Im going, not sure where I am staying though. I am thinking either by old town or Mission Valley. I will either use the same shortcut or take the train. Last year I also got to cheat the parking, I flashed my SD Sheriffs ID and got in but the new one is a Temp one so probally won't work this year.

No I work for a computer company but have to get IDs becasue I need clearance to get into the jails. I have 6 different county Sheriffs IDs for California and I get a lot of perks from them.
