And What pieces/Statue/Sculpt made them your favorite...???

Mine: Andy B. For the Hulk PF Masterpiece.

Close 2nd :Martin Canale and the Gore Group for all their Marvel pieces I.E. Thor.

Dooley! :rock Nobody does monsters (of the non-vintage variety) better.

Andy's gonna run away with this thing though...

ahhhhhhhhhhh that task difficult dear friend shai !!!! well................i do not want to miss respect to the others sculptors , ( all are good ) but mi list is this :
martin canale and the gore group
pablo viggiano
andy bergholtz
:bow:bow

had to go with olaf. for all his spikes. that 12in human spike is so real looking its scary. one of my absolute favorites. but every artist has given me at least one fovorite charactor. so they are all great.

I'm a big MARVEL fan so gots ta go with the ARGENTINAN PIMPS !!!!!!!!!

not far from them though:

Viggiano, Grove, Falls, Bergholtz, Oluf, Dusty, and Cipriano :rock

ALL OF THEM ROCKS !!!!!!!!!

I love Trevor's stuff but for all-time fav gotta give it to Andy without question.

I couldn't pick a favorite; they're all great, every one of them! I only put Oluf because I believe he is the man to whom I am indebted for my Faramir sculpt. :lecture

thats a really tough one.
SS's loaded with some of the best ....

while the Hulk is a masterpiece and evrything Andy does is near perfect, and Trevor has only just started and he's already in the top tier, Im always more excited to see the next piece by Martin moreso than others. .... :monkey1

To hard to pick just one. I love Dooley because he did an amazing job on the New Line Horror line. Andy is amazing too, Hulk is simply amazing. And I think Matt Falls did the Darkness PF, which is my favorite piece and is perfection. And Trevor has been doing STUNNING work lately! I cant vote, there are simply to many amazing artists.

I think Dooley should be on the list though.

I think they're all great sculptors. Its the prototypes that gets us to pre-order their stuff. There's just always something wrong with their finished products. Somewhere along the way the final product goes awry. QC at the factory? no one overlooking paint apps? Who knows?

I really can't pick a favorite... all of them produce such great sculpts. I settled on Mat because I love so many of his pieces, but I really think that all of them are what make Sideshow one of the best :rock

I agree that it's very hard to pick one.

However... the 12" Old Ben Kenobi and both ROTLA Indy figures = Trevor gets my vote this round. :lecture Those are two of the most iconic characters of all time (certainly of my generation). They're also notoriously difficult to sculpt... and yet he absolutely nailed both of them. :rock

This is tough. I voted Andy though. I just love his CSM sculpt. It is probably one of the most accurate 1:6 sculpts of all time. Definately under appreciated.

Trevor is probably my favorite current sculptor. He is doing some amazing stuff right now, and just as good as Andy.

Dooley! Where the heck has he been? The last thing I remember him doing was Jabba! He is the best at the modern horror, gory stuff hands down. Although Matt is giving him a run know with 805.

Oluf is THE Universal Monster go to guy. Without him, I probably woudn't be here today because he sculpted the first 12" Frankenstein figure, which introduced me to Sideshow. Not nearly enough work from him recently either.
