I ended up voting for Matt, but really all of them are so good at what they do that its not really possible to pick the best one. For what I collect Matt, Oluf, Trevor and Andy have been the sculptors I most recognize... but you can't deny the badassness of the other work for the Marvel pieces and others.

I concur... I too voted for Mat (we make up 2/3 of the current vote ) and there is NO denying "the badassness" of those Marvel pieces.

Just not my cup 'o tea.

I believe Andy said that others (Tim Miller) worked on Aragorn PF as well.

which is a good thing.

the painter & tailors have an incredible talent as well.

... but unfortunately Id compare it to the way a penciller gets more acclaim than the inker or colorist, or frontman of a band more than the other members....

It's impossible to pick, but I think Brian has met his demise. Has anyone seen or heard from him.

He may be a little impetuous. A little outspoken perhaps, but did he deserve this treatment? Where is the union, the harmonious resolution. It surely is a tough gig.

I don't think anyone said it was wrong to have a favorite sculptor, but a lot more people are involved in making these pieces then just the sculptor was what Dave was trying to say (I think). For a lot of us, it is very difficult to just pick one, because as has been mentioned, some are tied to specific lines which may be our favorite lines. They have all done sculpts that are my among my favorite pieces, so maybe that is the better question/poll... what is your favorite piece by each sculptor. It could be a series of polls... one for each sculptor...

So much work to look up all sculpt by let's say Harvigson ...

I may make one for Mike Hill though, but I guess Venom will be the winner, alltough Ardeth is the best !!

... but wouldnt naming your favorite piece put down the other artist's work, using the same logic thats been used when discussing your fav sculptor? ......
