I'm keeping what I have on order - thankfully once the current order goes it - my preorders have dropped back from last years levels cos I only get 1/6th scale stuff.
 
good to know that i'm not the only collector still powering on. I'm not really committed to any line of collectible, i've only been doing this for 2 months but whatever i've paid for, i've paid for, and cant wait for em to arrive. it's just a shame that i decided to get involved in this when the dollar is so .... house.
 
Ive paid in full for the following products
Iron man 1:1
Terminator 1:1 combat bust
and HT lost pred from ABCexpress.
Wont be pre-ordering anything else until the aussie dollar
strengthens.

Globalgear re-opens today at Knoxcity, aparently its supose to
be the biggest collectibles store in Melbourne.
Probably go check it out tomorow, I'll let you guys know if its any good.
 
So, looks like someone needs to put Adelaide on the map, so I guess its going to have to be me.

Other then that, I've got a couple of PF's on local pre-order, I'm hoping that their current listed price holds, but after that I'm expecting things to go up, so in a way, while our dollar sucks, I'm hoping that nothing new gets announced for a while that I'd want, since it may well cost way too much.

OH YEH!!! thanks for the reminder creech, I totaly forgot.
Yeh I did end up going its actually a cool shop, thought it would have been
bigger but its big enough.
The one thing that I liked, well apealed to me most is the fact that they
have expanded in the collectables department especialy sideshow stuff
they have allsorts of figures, statues and busts and from what I was told
they will be keeping up on new releases to.
If anyone is in the area you should check it out, your bound to find
something you want.
 
Thanks Nacho, I'll check it out. The old shop didn't have too much in the way of figures. A few Hot Toys, but even with their moving sale discount, they were still too pricey.
 
I went on Global Gear's website and on the homepage,
they have pics off their new store.

I already see some stuff I want!

any major purchases before Christmas?,
i was gonna buy a HT Iron Man last month to give to my younger brother, but he already knew i was really getting it for my self
 
I got my SSC clone war Obi wan a few weeks back now shipped with Gandalf the Grey-Awesome figures both!!!!
I now have on order still a BR joker thru Mista 305 on here,the Cobra Commander 12inch,Darth Vader,Stormtrooper and Ki Adi.......Have been trying to find a She Predator figure but the local Etailer that has it is selling ofr over $300 AUD-No thanks......
