Nope. I was totally oblivious until I watched the news. I'm in the outer east. We started getting some lightening, so I turned off the computer and pulled the leads of my more valuable equipment just in case. I was going to go looking for a car I was interested in over Bentleigh way. Now I wouldn't be surprised if it's a dimpled as a golf ball either.

Sorry to hear of your car Nacho. I hope your insurance covers it, and it works out for you.

Anyone else in Melbourne get the worst of the storm that
just went through here???? Hail the size of golf balls, my car
is totaly F^^^ED..The one day I didn't put it in the garage.

Damn man i hate hail:emperor.Sorry to hear about the car lucky you were not driving at the time. I drove into a hail storm a few years back and had my drivers side window smashed i was covered in glass and got soked to the bone

Hey guys apparently South/East subberbs got the worst of the hail.
I'm in Rowville. I have never seen hail that big before.
I was out with a friend when the storm came through but were
we where it wasn't as bad. We got back to Rowville just as the
storm had past and man it looked like a bomb had gone off.
Smashed windows on houses and cars, parts of the streets were
flooded and had downed trees across them.
Just as we turned down my street that was when I remembered
I had left the car in the driveway and as you said Creech it now
resembles a golf ball, covered in hundreds of dimples. I personaly
think it will be a write off. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.
And my dog the poor thing was home alone in the back yard,
thank God she was ok.

Took me 3.5 hours to get from Chapel Street to Coburg. Jam Factory kicked everyone out when water started coming into one of the cinema's. I love freakish weather but man, some serious damage. Hate to be working in insurance.

Funny you say that, my cousin works in insurance and he said he was
going to quit this week. To top it off its a public holiday in Melb on
Monday and his boss called him in to work. Poor guy.

Here are the pic's of my baby after the hail damage..
Its realy hard to photograph beeing a white car, the pics of
the hood which is alloy came out the best. Basicly the entire
car resembles the hood. DAMN HAIL!!!

The car will be getting assesed by the insurance this week.

Did you end up going to the toy collectors fair?? how was it??

I find out this week if my car will be repared or written off.
The pannel shop quoted the damage at around $13,000..
