Who would win ? Predator or Terminator !

Look does anyone know where we can find a real predator and a real terminator so we can settle this once and for all? Otherwise we'll have to have a film and the result of that would still be biased by whoever writes the story - plus it would probably be crap!

Biased by whoever writes the story? Nope. The writers would make it a draw to not "upset" either fanbase and leave it ambiguous. ie Freddy Vs Jason Avp, Avp-R.

You know I was thinking about this after catching the end of AvP on TV. Preds would win hands down in an all out war. But one on one, If the Terminator knew the fight was going on (no pred trickery ) the Terminator would win.

What do you mean? You mean if a Terminator was programmed to target a Pred? That's irrelevant cos we're simply asking about a fight between a Terminator and a Predator with both intending to kill eachother. Obviously a Terminator needs to be activated to fight and it comes with AI.

A lot of the posts in favor of the Terminator point out that the Predator is 'living' - like that makes it somehow weak and puny.

The Predator might not be as strong as the Terminator, but it does have speed, agility, and an actual thought process in it's favor... personally, I think a Predator COULD royally ^^^^ up that machine and use it's endo skull as a new cod piece.

The Terminator wouldnt even go down with a point blank range plasma shot - the TX tried that. The Terminator could kill a pred with it's bare hands and win everytime at arm-wrestling. I like preds more so my opinion isnt biased.

Yes, in very specific circumstances - like get him into a hydraulic press. A predator could be crushed by much more varied means.

I like both characters equally but I think a T-800 would win 7 or 8 out of 10 times against a predator allowing for some predator ingenuity the other times. Logical arguments favour the terminator for the most part. It continues to surprise how the predator is just keeping ahead in this poll.

Predator's plasma crap always varies film to film, and it's supposed to be 'alien tech' - you can't base something that is man made, to something we know ^^^^-all about... besides, like I've posted over and over, the original poster said in THIS circumstance the Terminator couldn't use his plasma rifle, and the Pred couldn't use his shoulder cannon.

However the Predator has a load of other weapons, and usually you know... hunts whatever it's prey is, I'm sure, looking for weaknesses. It's wouldn't go in with just a fist fight.

The T-850 was the one in T3 that took a direct plasma blast from the T-X. The T-850 is a massive upgrade to the 800 and has a much denser and hardened protective shell than the T-800. The 800 would have been blown to pieces. And I like Preds a lot too but I really think Terminators would take the cake on this.

T-800 are not man made. It was created by the most intelligent and advanced artificial intelligence in the world. A superior killing machine. This is how I see it. Cut a Pred in half, it is done. Cut a T-800 in half it will still crawl and try to bite you to death.
