I own bendy hands on a few figures and they stink.

The bendy hands on my Dragon figures were horrible and the figures were always dropping their accessories.

A big NO THANKS on the bendy hands.

I'd love to see some pictures of the dragon bendy hands. I have not experienced any problem with a bendy hand dropping an item. Maybe the dragon hand is different. And yes, I know most of you own bendy hands, but a few haven't said either way. :)

I'll pass. I don't play with my figs that way. Despite Sideshow's body shortcomings, they can't be topped when it comes to aesthetics.

I tried putting the bendy hands on my Hot Toys Hicks and it looked like a flat rubber spatula.

How many here actually own bendy hands?

Of the top of my head I have 7 figures with Bendy hands... and these are 2 from Dragon, 1 from Drastic Plastic, 1 from DiD (probably the best), 1 from CRM and 2 from early Hot Toys figures. And on all of them I'd prefre if the hands were sculpted... its not the end of the world, but I think they'd be better that way.

I agree that if you have to have unpainted posed hands (like older dragon bodies) or bendies its a toss-up, both aren't that good. But because of not looking real and them looking funky holding objects or dropping heavier ones they just aren't a great idea. Another issue is they are usually shiny and stick out as different from even the unpainted base body.

Well if anyone just purchased the Hot Toys GL body, please feel free to experiment with the bendy hands and share your thoughts.

Pictures would be an additional plus. :)

i don't like them either. notice how the thumb's placement looks un-natural?

the thing to do would be to make a hand set. 21st century toys did this and it was really cool. all sorts of hand poses were made and sold in one set. the peace sign, fists, different hand signals, a superman flying kind of look, etc...

And SS looks realistic.

Justin, I think you just need to start your own toy company and make your own figures.

f**k it, i'd buy justin's figures if he made them.... obviously hes the only one who wants innovation and improvement... why all of you guys stick to the same ol same ol......

anything is better then those god awful monkey hands of SSTs...... and knowing you evil face, you're use to all the crappy articulated G.I joes... anything is good for you.

LOL, definitely not intended. I'm just curious why my opinion on bendy hands is so radically different from the majority here. :monkey2  :D

I completely understand why you guys don't like the aesthetics for various reasons. But do you also see why I might like them?

exactly. that's why i don't like them.

Yeah, I definitely know what you guys are talking about. This can be minimized by folding the hand a bit.
