I have a feeling just because a figure is not released right after the movie and initial figures are, doesn't truly mean it's never gonna happen. Also I'm sure they probably have designs and prototypes for figures they haven't felt the need to tease or release yet (keep some under their belt, altering over time) They may not fit in the character batch they've planned on releasing. Like ANH hero characters release, then some ESB charscters... years later.. then Tarkin's release (back to ANH)
This gives me faith they'll release/tease a Krennic, Baze, and Cassian.... hover tank driver. Probably Saul Guerrera, 2-tubes, and some other Aliens.
Probably over the next 2-3 yrs. Peppering in some Greedo and Ponda Baba too.
Just bring it all HT. You know we will buy.
If this is not their formula and I don't see a Krennic in the next 2 yrs I will be more bummed than not having a proper one now.

The Poe release of not from TLJ though, it’s the TFA version.

Pretty sure HT revealing him while TLJ hype is building up is not fortuitous though.

And Poe's a continuing character, being TLJ and most likely Episode 9.

Whatever it takes....but I see the point that if he is a TFA version, then it gives hope to other figures being released after the movie.

Just smart for HT to use the next film to sell him with. I'd do the same.

Hopefully, HT won't wait for a movie featuring Cassian and Krennic to put those two on the market

Yes but incredibly minor differences aside like the chest box lights in TLJ, he more or less wears the same flight suit so the figure could work for either a TFA or TLJ display. Might even be why they're releasing him now; so they can just do one Poe for the two movies or even the entire trilogy and be done.

They'll never be done with ANH. It's a gold mine.

In fact, the new trilogy is still mining ANH characters.

I guess it DID take a while for Tarkin...he didn't make it out of ANH.

He didn't make it out of ANH... but made it into RO.

Tarkin was one of the biggest (if not THE biggest) standouts of RO - that's why HT is making him. He's a star again.

Nowhere, except a personal desire to see Wedge made by HT, because he is an OT badass. Only pilot to survive two Death Star runs, and he destroyed the second Death Star (with Lando).

Wedge rules.

I need more Wedge, and less Count Dooku from HT.

With Poe becoming a reality, I'm still hoping Krennic and Cassian get made. Baze is just a matter of time since they revealed him already, hopefully they don't 86 him since he goes with Chirrut.

I've come to like Saw's character design more each time I watch Rebels, so I'd love to see HT doing him.

Yeah I'd also be up for Saw. But I guess his costume is pretty complex and expensive to produce. Interest may be borderline, especially at this point in time.

He'd certainly have great shelf presence though !

Agreed, Cassian, Krennic and Baze. Then Hot Toys can move on from Rogue One.

Add Bistan or Two Tubes to the mix and I'd be OK. But those 3 are the ones I'd want most, and I hope still have the highest chances (which are still not mega high)
