Also the majority of Vader's valuable time and energy in those movies was spent defending it and intimidating the help into making it a reality. And we all know Vader is the undisputed most important character of the films.

Vader's home is the Death Star.... not Mustafar.

George Lucas once said the entire OT is really about the Death Star.




BTW, do you realize the Death Star has been in 4 of the 8 Star Wars movies? That's a lot of Death Star.

Technically, it's in six of the movies. You see the initial plans for it in Attack of the Clones, and then the early stages of construction in Revenge of the Sith. Then, it's obviously featured prominently in Rogue One, A New Hope, and Return of the Jedi (although in this last case, it's a different version). Finally, we see a hologram in The Force Awakens comparing the Death Star to Starkiller Base.

But if we don't include holograms, then yes, a physical Death Star (whether finished or not) appears in four of the eight movies.

That's TWO MORE films for the star -- the Death Star!

I'd say the full 8-part saga (so far) really is about the Death Star.

I have a few Deathtroopers... love their design as much as the white clad Stormtroopers. I am also sure HT will release a Krennic, Cassian and Baze in the next 2 yrs hopefully much sooner. Also the Deathstar Trooper within a year probably around the time "SOLO: A Star Wars Story" figures get released since they're in it too.

Yeah, like suggested in another thread there is a lot on for HT at the moment (Marvel, DC and Star Wars). However after Solo there will be a long stretch off nothing until Ep 9. I think they'll catch up there. Just hope they decide that Rogue 1 figures are still wanted........cause they are by me !!!

The time may come when people start selling theirs cheap with their impatience that Krennic isn't teased - then blammo - he suddenly gets a release and their price goes up again.

It's already there.

In time, I hope the live action canon is culled down to four films: OT + RO.

That'll give them plenty to go at in terms of making some decent reboot prequels and sequels that fit the tradition.

You could put the sequels into a category labelled, 'Fan Fiction'.

While RO was post-Lucas it felt like the makers got it. Unlike Lucas himself, who lost it during the Prequels.

I'm dying to see the Hot Toys 2018 catalogue and if they show anything relating to Rogue One. In previous years they have pages with just the film Logo in place. Either way it would give us a sign if something is coming for Rogue One in 2018 or not.

I think it's usually available in Jan/Feb.

Below was the 2017 catalogue. Not sure if any additional figures were made over and above what they showed here. Certainly a few which were not yet made ! But they could also spill into 2018 I guess.

The Baze figure previewed was magnificent and I would order a Hover Tank pilot too, let alone the possibilities of a Krennic, Cassian etc

Hard to say without mentioning parts of the film.

I hope you enjoy it but for me it just didn't deliver, and what bits it did left me feeling a bit empty (if that makes sense)
