1/6 Why no love from Hot Toys for Rogue One, Cassian, Baze and Saw Gerrera ?

They release spider verse Gwen? I laughed but people on Facebook seem to love it. Maybe I am wrong for thinking the rogue one figures or Han and lando bespin would sell well. Obviously teen cartoon figures are the way to go.

The Spiderverse figures are definitely not for me. I loved the cartoon for what it was, but definitely don't need $250 idealized versions of the characters. I'm always a bit torn when they announce something I don't want. Disappointed but relieved that I can save some $. What a weird hobby

I imagine they had the same laugh reaction when say old man Tarkin was released [emoji2]

It really is hard to judge what is popular and what isn't. Don't envy hot toys there at all.

Not judging, just surprised hot toys releases this instead of certain Star Wars and Batman figures announced years ago.

They release what's popular now and they know the hype for this animation will die down soon if it's not already. People have been waiting for years and years for SW and BMF, they can wait another year or two.

I think there will be more OT/PT SW releases before the Marvel and DC movies are out this summer. It's good for HT to catch up on release some of the figures they previewed before.

The miles and Gwen figures look awesome and if they were 1/12 I would probably stump up about 80 for them for my son but as 1/6? Nope.
But clearly there’s interest?
Would be nice to see some new Star Wars that isn’t mandalorian troopers. - as great as they are a dirty stormtrooper and biker scout are not as good as Cassian or Death Star trooper or even jamgo!

No way HT will not do a Cassian when the series comes. The House of Mouse will make sure it is done

I want cassian from rogue one. This tv series could be hit or miss. Plus he may be in a different outfit. Hopefully ht gets us a cassian sometime this year. He is long overdue. I know it?s a major long shot, but I never thought we would get krennic.

I tell myself HT already have a Cassian prototype. They're just waiting until the Cassian series is about to kick off to reveal it.

Although D+ "Rebel Spy" Andor will likley have a few looks depending on the mission. I assume when at Rebel HQ the series will match the main Rogue One aesthetic and he'll have a look that somewhat closely matches his standard Rebel Officer look of Rogue One.
Although I'm not even sure this is set on Yavin, or how many years before Rogue One?
Maybe it's set on Dantoine, or an as yet revealed Rebel HQ, where the main Rebel uniforms might slightly change, as they do seem to adapt their main looks to their specific HQ.

I do hope when they do finally release a figure of Andor, his primary look is still close enough to display with the Rogue One cast as well.

I'm sure that once upon a time HT made a RO Cassian prototype, which is probably gathering dust in the back of a dark room along with Baze. There was a time when that RO version would've been in my top 5 most wanted figures, I really like that character (unlike most it seems). Easily my favourite of the Disney-era, outside of The Mandalorian. Now I'm fine with waiting for the show as a Cassian is guaranteed. It would be quite special if, next year, they offered up a deluxe set with the RO and Andor versions. I don't see that being outside the realms of possibility after what they did with the Mando Boba deluxe set. If the Andor version is all we get then so be it, he'll still display up nicely next to Jyn and K-2SO.

I guess once they get past the initial younger child flashback stuff setting up the story (I'm only assuming that could happen based on his lines in Rogue One), but the main story could happen relatively close to Rogue One. Therefore he may still have similar clothes to Rogue One. I hope he keeps that blue Parka and backpack.

I mean we've seen Fennec Shand in the same gear from Bad Batch to Mando.

A multi outfit figure like Deluxe Jyn would be pretty cool to achieve these different looks.

I wouldn't really care what age he'd be. Just so long as the outfit is cool like this was.

Yes, he was in Rebels.

Really liked his presence in Fallen Order.

Shame we never got a figure of him from Rogue One.

Only figure I have of him is the 5POA one from the Hasbro 4 pack which is like the only figure of him out there aside from the Funko Pops. Not even a LEGO minifig.

I think rogue one was hurt by the failure of the force awakens line. Rogue one was a big hit, but we got jipped on the figure line because of the poor selling duck troopers. Maybe the edition size was smaller, but all of the rogue one figures sold out fairly quickly. That said, I would love a rogue one cassian and saw.

The only counter-argument I'll make to that is it's probably in a spy's best interests to have regular wardrobe changes I'm a big fan of his outfit in the last picture there. The blue parka is also really nice though.

Oh I'd buy a Bodhi Rook for sure. I love the story that Riz was (to use his words) spamming Gareth Edwards with different versions of the character before they started. Clearly mega excited !!

I actually had a pic of Bodhi to add to the above, but most draw the line at Cassian, Baze and Saw. Even those would be normally difficult to get.

I would love a 1/6 Bodhi. I bet more people would have been asking for him if they had released Cassian and Baze.

The chances for a RO Saw have got to be almost non existent. Cool costume. But to be honest he was probably the worst part of the movie. His sequence was boring as hell and his actions were ridiculous. Whitaker also badly over acted.
