Why no Terminator 3 ?

Looks fine too me. It's more interesting to watch then a dopey CGI bot running around.

Why? Because I can see effort put into it. I can see James trying to figure out how the ____ can we pull this off.

When I see Terminator Salvation, I see McG saying "OK NOW THE ROBOT HITS YOU. YOU FALL NOW. OK CUT". Doing nothing else.

Terminator Salvation is forgettable. It's boring, and dull. And in a few years, those effects will look abysmal.

Yet, Terminator stands the test of time, and is celebrated years after. And while the stop motion puppet, isn't the greatest scene, the animations are still great looking. And hold up.

You make allowances when watching old movies and accept its not going to be up to par. Doesn't mean you are not aware and can't comment on how bad some of these things can look now.



I actually thought that part looked okay. I thought the Arnie rubber head was by far the worst.

No, it does. Because that makes you look unappreciative.

I really, really hate when people comment on bad effects for films that, during that point, looked really good. It's just so offensive to me.

Without T2's effects, you wouldn't have Avatar effects. Simple as that. And without Abyss effects, you wouldn't have any of those, and with out Star Wars effects...and so on.

Citizen Kane is one of the most impressive films i've seen. Could've easily been a modern film. It looks that good.

Laugh at a film like The Mummy Returns, who's effects looked horrible and dated then, and look worse now. Don't go after a film that upped the antie.

I loved T-3. LOL Best chase scene I've ever seen. I loved Claire Danes (the first time I ever saw her), I loved the T-X and I loved the ending. I don't understand the hate at all. I understand the love for the first two...maybe it's because I went in not expecting much and didn't really care if it was gonna suck or not and was pleasantly surprised. Opinions; everyones got 'em. Go to the DC section and you'll find a bunch of people who loved Batman Returns and Batman Foerever. Explain THAT to me!

Terminator 3 That is the one terminator movie that just did'nt do it for me. I would'nt mind some hot toys stuff from it thought, maybe a battle damaged t-850, t-1, and t-x would look cool on display...I hated the stripper leather outfit and star shaped glasses thing, the whole thing lost the cool vibe that is terminator

I agree, and add, a T-X endoskeleton and human/partial TX with alternate arm choices would make me happy.

T3 was a good movie. There wasn't a damn thing wrong with it.

As for the T1 effects, it doesn't matter how much effort they put into it, or how different it is..it didn't look good. At that one part atleast. It looked so fake and..glitchy or whatever.

I don't remember the effects looking bad at all..I enjoyed the story, didn't really like the way Catherine Brooster or whoever was portrayed..I don't see why it would be a "tv movie" though.

Salvation is the only movie in the franchise I didn't think was all that great, but still enjoyable.

So you should never comment on how a film ages for fear of looking unappreciative? That is absurd.

James Cameron has my money. Multiple times over...I have the new issue of National Geo in front of me which has his article on going back down to the Titanic wreck. If I want to comment on how effects have aged in 30 year old films then I will. I'm sure he'll survive.

And you find it offensive? Really? Get a grip.

But at the same time its okay to to point out the flaws in a film like The Mummy that you don't like? Wow.....

I loved all terminator movies.Have them all at home and watch them from time to time and yes even t3 is it as good as t1 t2 and salvation no but its still a terminator film with arnold in it and its enough for me
