I have a Mitsubishi HD tv and it works similar to MooMooEgg's. The "Full" plays everything in the native aspect that your DVD or gaming system is outputting. Surprised your "normal" feature doesn't. You're "Widescreen" mode is probably similar to what my system calls "Stretched" which is the TV manipulating the data, so yeah, you probably lose quality.

I wonder if you tried using a different component input on your tv if you get a better result.

Yeah, I am going to switch out the cables.....tv itself is proven to work well....it is perplexing!

Thanks, everyone

Ok, some of you will kill me...I got my Tv book out and flipped thru it.....there is a 'Full' option available on my tv, but its always grayed out....that is until I noticed it wasnt for my Wii....the Normal mode is designed for 480 p signals...and when I change to that, FINALLY, my WII is acting normal screen wise...

Others had meantion their Normal mode, I was too dense...

Thank you for all the suggestions/games and other wise...

Gotta say though, while NO MORE HEROES is fun, it is SUPER JAGGY!

Congrats for finally figuring out the problem. We all overlook little things from time to time, and that's why it's always good to ask for help :D

Play Mario Galaxy and Metroid Prime Trilogy on your Wii to see what the top of the graphical power is, mario galaxy really is a beautiful game in 480P, I've got a 360 AND ps3 AND wii, and although mario galaxy is Killzone not, its truly amazing that it actually can stand on its own next to its HD counterparts, kills me inside a little that there arent any other visually outstanding wii games.... here's waiting for Zelda for the wii (appearantly coming in 2010 according to gamespot)
