Will anybody do Kick-Ass in 1/6?

Will anybody more notably Hot Toys do Kick-Ass in 1/6 do you think? Are there any reasons why it won't happen? I don't know of any, are there any licensing issues etc?

It's a very popular comic book/movie and with Kick-Ass 2 green-lit I just can't see why this wouldn't happen!

I would love all four charcters in 1/6

I'd really like to see HT makes these but i don't think they will.

From what I've read movie didn't really do well. It had a nice build- up, but it seemed like it lasted its opening weekend and gone. Mezco's figures didn't do well either. I'm not putting down the movie or the making of figures from the movie, but just my thoughts as to why they probably won't be made. Add to that that the Watchmen, a better following property, probably isn't going to be finished in 1/6 scale I don't see Kick Ass getting figures in this scale.

Suprises me alittle bud, thought you would have atleast liked the film

I bought the comics very early on before the mention of a film and really loved it back then, for some reason didn't make it to the cinema to see it but watched it yesterday and i thought it was worthy of all the hype, i genuinely loved it because i loved it if that makes sense

Why close this thread when there are so many others are around that address the same topics and over and over again?

I want good Kick-Ass figures a hell of a lot more than 99.9% of what the companies are making right now, but I don't think there's a possibility of much merchandise until the next movie, due to come out in 2012.

And then there's the fear of not getting all four costumed characters, even if a company like Hot Toys got the license.

Mezco's figures not doing well? It puzzles me how anyone could know that, since as far as I know, they're not released yet.

Perhaps I should have been more clear. They weren't very well received by retailers.

Movie looked horrible and didn't do all that great at the box office as far as I'd seen. The figures looked equally as horrible except for maybe using the head from the purple haired chick and making a figure from the old UFO series.

Most of these figures would be easy customs. A standard true type and a fabric costume, no extra parts. Hit Girl might be the only one that requires a new head sculpt because you can see most of her face. Another problem would be getting a female figure with correct proportions, could probably just use a slim, but this is why we need a slim female true type

Maybe we could commission someone to make the costumes. I 'd buy one
