Will anybody do Kick-Ass in 1/6?

Don't know how people can hate on this movie so badly, the only part that irked me was the jetpack at the end, otherwise it was just loads of fun! This scene in particular rocked my socks...if I remember it was one continuous shot, one continuous shot of badassery

Yeah this scene rocked indeed. After seeing this I wanted to have a Big Daddy figure not matter what, I'd even sculpt it myself if I had to, haha.

I have to say I agree with this.

The whole film had this great sense of reality, that it could just be you or me who would dress up in a diving suit and fight crime, but that last bit with the jetpack made it a bit... too unrealistic IMO.

I loved the film, and I'm definitely looking forward to get it on Blu. I'm hoping that knowing this will scene come, makes me not bother it anymore, since I have that a lot with films!

Anyway, back on topic; I'd love to see at least a Kick Ass figure. Two headsculpts, masked and unmasked, his fighting sticks, maybe a loose mask he can hold in his hand while using the unmasked sculpt...
They could even throw in the jetpack...

Nor am I. Fair enough if people didn't enjoy it. But not quite getting the hate.

My girlfriend saw it at the cinema with a friend, I wanted to go but had to get work done. Anyway, since she saw it she has been going on about how awesome it is and I'm glad I wasn't dissapointed or let down. Really enjoyed it!

Seems like at least a couple of the guys hating this movie haven't even seen it... Give it a try - it's much more intense than you might think from the previews.

I definitely think it will garner a bigger following on DVD/Blu-ray... and there's talk of a sequel, isn't there? Maybe we'll be more likely to get Hot Toys figures then.

From what I understand, a sequel was greenlit since the dvd/blu-ray sold well, and that the original cast and crew are returning. The release year is tentatively set for 2012.

I thought someone did make these in 1/6, Gentle Giant or Mezco or someone...I remember seeing them advertised somewhere. If HT is doing RE:Afterlife figures and giving us a few from that piece of crap license (My apologies to those who like it but I thought the films were horrid and a disgrace to the games) I don't see Kick-Ass figures out of the realm of possibliities. You will probably have to wait until the sequel though in all reality.

Yeah, Mezco is making the 1/6 figures. Reading up on them they aren't HT or SS 1/6, but more NECA 1/6 as in 2ups all plastic.
