From what I understand, a sequel was greenlit since the dvd/blu-ray sold well, and that the original cast and crew are returning. The release year is tentatively set for 2012.

It'll be really interesting what they do with Hit Girl... She won't have the same impact she did as a twelve-year old. I'm sure the characters will be handled well though.

If Hot Toys does make toys because of the sequel, I hope they don't ignore the first one... I'd rather have an original Hit Girl then one when she's older. It's such a unique aspect of her character.

I would buy both, but I agree with you - I wouldn't want them to ignore the first movie when it comes to Hit Girl. I'd also want Chris D'Amico/Red Mist as he is in the first movie.

My guess is that Kick-Ass will be the only one doesn't change.

I remember reading a HT Q&A awhile back which someone put on here & one of the questions was if HT has any plans for KA & basically they had discussed it but they have no plans at the moment but won't rule out making them in the future. Fingers crossed they do, I loved that film

Chloe Moretz has more talent in her little pinky than probably at least 75% of the adult actresses working in Hollywood, IMO.

And she definitely has range - Let Me In, for example.

Even a year later, I would still buy all 4 main characters if they were made today. I thought the movie was incredibly fun.

Let me in is just another ____ty remake for lazy arse people who don't want to read or accept that another culture can make a good movie.
Range you say. Really, she is just another 2d child actor who will go on to be NOTHING. Like so many other great child actors ( and yes I'm being sarcastic when I say great child actors because there really isn't any)

All she can do is be this 10-12 year old kid whis going on 30 which is BS and not realistic and very very annoying. Because if you were to meet her type of character you would want to break your foot off in her arse in about 2 sec.
