It doesn't seem to be a problem with all of them. Could be something got on the figures being run at that time and the paint didn't adhere like it should. Painting these isn't a problem as if it's done correctly with additives, which I'm sure they do.

Seams like mine was just plain defective, and everybody else's was fine, which is fine with me. I'd rather me have a screwed up figure than all of my fellow collectors have a screwed up figure.

I still think you should try for a return.I just got a notice from Monkey Depot today that they got replacement feet for the aliens warrior.I bought one from them back in Feb.and I let them know about the defect.They were more than happy to oblige.We just had to wait for HT to make more I guess.Bottom line is,the manufacture wants you to be happy with their product.These things sell by word of mouth.If alterego cant help.Go to SideShow.Just make sure you have your receipt.

elder i don't have the same problem as you have with predalien , simply 'cause it hasn't yet arrived to me but i have the TWO aliens alien warriors that have the same problem with paint that fall off rubber and dramatically, i do not know why a so expensive figures can suffer from this kind of stupid issues, i could understand mcfarlane stuff but HT not! it's just scandalous
my 2 aliens warrior don't even have fall off with paint in rubber parts but even a little in hard plastic too

yes elder, maybe i will post some pictures od the " sikness " who suffer my aliens or/and will start a thread about for know how it's extended is this issue and how much it's common

note that i have also the grid and the requiem alien and they haven't any issues of any kind, and the 2 aliens warrior, the dark and the brown are arrived mint in box to me with these rubber paint issues as new figures...

I too received my "brown" Aliens alien new in package last week and there is one spot of flaking paint on his shoulder. Luckily for me, it is in the back part of his shoulder so not a huge problem for me.

well i just assembled my predalien and wow let me tell you she is well worth it. fortunately i didnt have any trouble with the paint as elder had mention he had with his ( good thing you sent it back for a replacement ) or joint problems as with some of the aliens. this figure is imposing man, the PA is a hell of a piece of work and i would recommend it to anyone whos having second thoughts on getting her.

Same, I'm worried that I did something wrong. How did you guys get the legs on? Did you just grab her by the abdomen and try and push the leg on or what? Same with the arm,I'm afraid that the paint peeledbecause that's how I put it on.

Me too - and I had to get my AvPR Alien Warrior replaced because the paint just went MIA after that (hopefully the replacement arrives next week). While I was in the shop, I took a look at the repaint Aliens Warrior - same problem, but pre-assembly. Does this happen a lot or what?

hey bro, i know i speak for all of us and believe me i feel your pain. thankfully that will come to an end once you recieve your replacement.
