I am getting tempted by these. They look so good and brilliantly made. If Hot Toys had released a Hulk from the last movie I think I would have snapped up an Iron Man to pose with it. Not sure about buying their Marvel stuff yet but they do look fantastic.
Oh and they talk about the new technique used for this figure and it is material that'll make skin look more realistic. It'll be used for the Mark II and Mark III as well. They also mention that this was way easier to design compared with the other models. And even though that it is bulky as hell articulation is quite good.
- Authentic and detailed fully realized Mark 1 in bulky and crudely design
- Stands approximate 30 cm tall
- Over 36 points of articulations
- Steel-like painting
- Dressed in Tony Stark accurate costume and Hot Toys' TrueType figure inside Mark 1 armor
- Helmet that has a raising face- plate revealing the face of Robert Downey Jr. as TONY STARK
- Special features on the MARK 1 armor:
+ Light up glowing heart and red button on left forearm (battery operated)
+ Real-like build in flame thrower
+ Working forearm missile launcher
- Two pairs of Interchangeable hands
- 12-inch figure stand
(Note: Mark 1 armor and figure body are inseparate)

Mark 1 and Mark 3 will look amazing on the shelf, the before and after. I kind of like the Mark 2 myself -- very sleek and simple -- but you kind of have to go for the Mark 3 first.
