Just want to say kudos for doing something a little off the beaten path. As fun as it can be to see many different takes on a character, the thing I love about customs galleries is seeing a character that no one's taken a crack at yet.

And I love that movie, so very cool!

Thanks - It's the final. I feel the head sculpt is quit smooth but never being fully satisfied myself I may sit with it a bit more and see if much of a difference can be made. Maybe you're reading his patchy facial hair/ dirt smudges as rough?

Thanks guys I really appreciate that! It's great to get honest feedback so improvements can be made. I want to offer the best figures I possibly can so keep the critics/ feedback coming in the future please. The first pic I originally posted was an early WIP and yeah I agree it was less than overwhelming; but they gotta start somewhere I guess.
