Looks pretty good,I can definitely see Freema in the sculpt a lot better than before.

This is a Classic Doctor Who custom of Eldrad from "Hand of Fear" I made for VikkiTX. I used Apoxie sculpt self-hardening resin over a Dragon body and lots and lots of hours putting on the stones (laugh). It took waaaaay longer than I thought it would. I have a crap conception of how much time something will take me. I love how it turned out though.

Incidentally, for the Who nerds before they call me on it, I totally tweaked her color scheme, using the same colors in her costume but made her much more vibrant looking and less dull grey than she did in her tv episode. I also made her a severed Eldrad to go along with it. Eldred MUST live!

WST this is a thing of beauty!!! what sort of stones did you use? id love a crack at one of these :)

Sometimes a bit of artistic license can be a good thing and Eldrad's color is very striking.
I also applaud you for having the patience to stick all those stones on,the end result was definitely worth it.

I am SO looking forward to getting this awesome figure, and the hand too! Watching her take shape in the WIP pics has been a blast.

BTW, Rick, I'm mostly unpacked from my trip. I hope to start sewing on my various Doctor Who commissions tomorrow, or by this weekend at the latest.

EDIT: Eldrad was sitting in my local post awful overnight. Since I got back from the airport after official business hours, I had to wait until the next day to get her. She looks AWESOME - even better in person! The photos don't do the paint job justice - The metallic paint looks fantastic.

Nice pics, Vikki! Thanks for throwing one of the severed hand up there too (I forgot to take one before I sent it off!). Brendan will be jealous (but I promised I'd make you one, bro!)

Alright, I've been in a painting mood the last few nights and I finally got around to painting up my two Judoon. I'm kind of frustrated at how the brown ones detail has gotten washed out in all of these pics, because he really does have just as much detail on him as the grey one. Another detail thing I did that doesn't show up well is I put a double light source/lens flare dots in their iris that makes them look a hint more alien. In the pics it just looks like they have no pupils. Confound you, camera!

Anyways, in person these turned out very nice (but then monsters are easier than human faces).

The Hand looks awesome,I'll look foward to getting mine whenever you've got the time to do it as I know you've got a lot on with all the commissions and everything.
Nice work on the Judoon too!

Here's my newest Doctor Who custom I've been commissioned to make that I've been working on recently for Vikki, a 1:6 scale Morbius Monster plus accessories, still a WIP, made out of Apoxie over a GI JOE body.

I managed to keep all of it's articulation except for shoulder and neck. Morbius' weight is making him lean forward here. he's actually taller than he looks (and still need his dome attatched).

I also just finished a Deadly Assassin Master custom for another friend I hope to post pics of soon. :)

I've been planning a 1:6 WEB OF FEAR Yeti custom for awhile, but was put off because my old Denys Fisher custom Yeti kinda sucked (I was just starting then!) and I needed to make sure I could do this one right.

By the time I commissioned the Ada "Troughton" head, I knew I needed to get in gear and finally make him.

The Yeti here is a Hasbro 1:6 Wampa dyed brown (which was problematic and took several attempts for me until it took right), with metallic red beads as eyes which I like because they really catch the light. I bought two different things to be his goofy belt thing they wore. Both work alright, but I haven't decided which to stick with. I put pics of both different types on here.

The first one had a cool straw like fringe that hung off of it I liked, but had strands of glittery tinsel worked in as well. I cut that part off, but you can still see flecks of it hidden in his fur in some shots I need to fish out.

:monkey5
