Running the RC version on my Media Center and that has some nice updates over XP for HDMI audio. (didn't touch Vista so XP is my touchstone for comparison in terms of MCE ).
Ubuntu on my laptop. My MAC died at the start of this year and out of warranty so didn't get a chance to try Snow Leopard.

What happened??

~~~Download.com has a good head to head video that mentions what both Windows 7 and Snow Leopard have to offer in terms of the new features and upgrades. I don't want to start a VS. argument in here so just watch the video to see what the new features and perks are for upgrading.
F WINDOWS.
I went ahead and ordered the Home Premium Upgrade. I figured for $30 its not that bad since I paid that for Snow Leopard.
~~ Here's a dumb question, but because its an Upgrade I have to have XP or Vista installed already right?? I can't just install it to a formatted hard drive?
Some funny stuff in this thread.
I am looking forward to getting W7. And I think I can get it at a fraction of the cost, but I have to check my source.
got mine for £50 shipped...roughly $90
What version, and was it a full install or upgrade?
I like they way everyone is selling this on ebay.
Buy a used pen for 200.00 and get a free copy of Windows 7 Ultimate included!
Why compare Mac Os vs. Windows?? :dunno...
no competition here... it's like HT vs. Hasbro... :lol:lol
Except when it comes to shelling out the cash. In that sense W7 is sorta like HT. You get a great OS, but Snow Leopard buyers pay Hasbro prices for HT quality.
