Well, as excited as I am for this guy, finances are pretty ugly right now. Question for anyone who may know: Am I still able to cancel this late in the game? Would I be able to get my NRD transferred to another order and not have to lose it?

I know what you mean...Im not canceling this guy, but I know the feeling and might have to cancel something else down the road.

According to my orders page, I cannot cancel this and apply my deposit to another order. I will have to eat the $25 deposit. Have any of you been able to override that, or will I have to keep my order?

I think that the only possibility you can have is to send a message to custom service or directly to [email protected] and tell them that the item has been delayed about initial prevision (july 2012) and you want to cancell your order and take back the 25$ of the deposit.

2 thoughts:

1- That is the non-refundable portion of the term 'non-refundable deposit'

2- Perhaps money is not as tight as you think if, keeping a $250 item to avoid losing $25, is a real option.

You could always recieve it and then come back to the boards and Im sure someone here will take it off your hands at price. I think there were some people who wanted this guy who missed out on it...unless its not sold out...I havent checked so I might be talking out my ass. Just a suggestion.

I had 3 pre-orders with NRDs that I wanted to cancel. I sent an e-mail to customer service, they cancelled my pre-orders and applied the NRDs in their entirety to my next order...worked out very well.
