2K bro!. Thats what I find funny about all these people pre-ordering it without a deposit. When the time comes the majority of people are going to cancel. I mean its a great looking peice but come on 2K? Thats a bit steep for a statue. Not as crazy extreme as the people that are buying the bronze bobba statues but close,lol

I agree. It looks like only BBTS is doing preorders without a deposit. That kind of kept me from wanting to order from them because I felt less secure than if I put a deposit somewhere I trusted. With that said, I don't think BBTS will get enough to fill all the orders people put in on a whim and then cancel, but I also think enough will be cancelled that people who really want one can probably get one.

The 1/4 SS ones and the SS 1:1 busts all go in that price range in the secondary market now anyways. This is a 1/3 maquette that's freakin awesome.

People have no problem paying upwards of a grand in the aftermarket for little iron man comiquettes or PF figures. IMO, this is a better piece without the markup (yet).
