he wasn't in the sewer either, so movie timing doesn't apply to this statue. If they include the whip, it should be open, they would've been better off choosing the cannon over the whip in this case.

I have yet to order the LSF yet, even though I finally have the funds available to do it. I was on the fence about going through with the purchase now they throw this one up ( not that I am complaining ). Not nearly as dynamic as the LSF but still looks to be an incredible statue. Great option for those not wanting to fork over 2k for the LSF. Now I got some more thinking to do.

the thing with wolf lsf is if i preorder i can get it at ~$1700, but if order after it's released it will be the same $2k from sideshow. After all my whining about size/price etc.. i concluded the ONLY thing preventing me from getting the wolf lsf thus far is the lack of ES. That just really bothers me.

I'm fine with the whip being closed, but yeah..the combi-stick should be opened.
And as for sculpted netting..as long as it's painted correctly I have no problem with it.
I really like this statue. Better than both P1 and the Elder....
If nothing better comes out within the next 2-3 months I'll probably PO it.
I actually really like the pose and base and think the head and bio look off. But did anyone really think they were going to look 100% accurate on a 1/5 SS statue? Absolutely not.

Can you give me some info on this $1700 preorder
Also, I figure if I get this one instead I can easily pick up the Elder to go along with him...possibly a P2 if they release him in this format. Don't get me wrong the LSF is such an incredible piece for a wolf fan as myself but justifying the price at the moment is really difficult for me to do ( wife and I are buying a house at the end of the year ).
I think this would look great with my other wolf collectibles without having to have its own stand. This is looking to be an easy pre-order for me.
Also about the people worried about the netting with the AVP-R Diorama, they nailed it on a smaller piece. I would hope the same could be said of this one.

I was excited at first then after seeing it, that's how I felt. Can SS stop playing around and get real 1/4th versions of these guys out already in better poses? I'm so ready to throw cash at them but they're making me look like I'm stingy with my money

different strokes for different folks. I have no interest in the 1/5 line at all. If the P1 was as accurate as the maquette and if this were as accurate as the LSF, maybe, but I would rather pay a lot more for the accuracy and detail. These 1/5 maquettes aren't even close to the mixed media counterparts. Same deal why ppl love the Sano Alien over all the others, the only difference is, you get more size with the Predators when you pay more money.

Apologies. You did guess right, even if you did it in a negative way, but you incorrectly re-guessed later, hence my comment about nobody guessing rightly with any confidence. And you thought the pic was part of the base.

it's from a local reseller in NJ, but you can get 10% off "officially" from any sideshow authorized reseller, and many offer additional 5% off if you ask. Just talk to some of the resellers posting in the dealer thread. Pick one with the lowest shipping.

Dunno why this 1:5 line is plagued with inaccuracies or lack of proper weapons/accessories. The only one looking good at the moment is the Elder IMO, although my love for the Wolf will get the best of me and make me order this one. The unmasked head looks a bit off but I have my LSF to satiate that drawback. Only if the pose was a bit more exciting and he had his 2nd cannon. Sigh!
