it is, but if you saw the quality you got with the CM Pred at 2k a few years ago, you would understand the big difference in quality that I speak of. The scarcity of the piece and my love for Pred collectibles is what holds me back from getting rid of it. If I wasn't such a big Pred head, I would not keep it.

Same green on the chest too...I was thinking it was Pred blood so I'll stick with that. 
I know what you're saying about the CM stuff....same price but a different league in terms of quality.
A few minor, tiny scuffs on mine; nothing that bothers me and they are in areas where it looks like battle wear and I was looking for anything and everything that could be wrong with it or I may not have ever noticed.
With the size, weight and sooooo many fine details on this piece and considering it is SS, I'm actually surprised it was delivered in this good of condition.
I love Preds but Wolf is my love in the Predator world and I think this is the top of the mountain for Wolf statues so I'm content and love this one.
PS.....damn this piece is heavy.

Here were pics when I smashed the first one, now you can see why it is heavy.
have you ever had the P1 maquette? Even compared to that one, the quality is inferior in many ways. That piece is basically flawless in application, and that's why it commands such a price cause SS can't make Pred pieces like that anymore.

I have never seen that one in person. sounds like I don't need to if it'll show SS's decline in application.
I love this one to death but I do get the feeling there is no difference between them making a PF and making this one (other than the weight
)well I'm happy some people that missed out on the older pieces had a chance at something big and cool like Wolf that's less than 3k, but yea, if you have any of the old SWS busts or statues, the decline in QC and quality is very evident. It's unfortunate, but it saves me money in the long run as I slowly try and get out of SS statues.

Other than having ADI sculpt the proto.... Yeah I 110% agree with this.
Well my second base arrived but the alien inner mouth broke off in transit. They did not pack it well, there was even room for it to bounce around when they added their foam packets. I think I prefer the problem with the finger. Let's see if they'll send a third one though.

Ahhhhhh!!!!! Every time I see this I feel sick to the stomach because I Missed out on this beast and I really want one. It really is depressing...sometimes I hate when SS limits the amount made especially with pieces like this..it sucks for collectors who really want it but have lost the opportunity because of low life scalpers who buy them up just to sell for double the price. When SS limits them they are making it better and easier for scalpers and harder for real collectors....at the same time yeah its cool that its exclusive..I just get mad when I see them on EBay for $4000.. well thats collecting for ya haha..Sorry for my ramble..

One just sold on ebay. It was listed for $2995 buy it now but best offer was accepted. When I search for completed listings under the username on my phone it says it sold for $2595. Does this actually tell you the price it sold for? And if so, can anyone else verify this?

Greeting from the Czech republic, longtime lurker here. I got lucky (this is so far the only confirmed piece here) on friday and bought one for 2050$ (unbelievable low price here). Only small paint damage on the hip, nothing that cant be repaired. Im totaly blown away by this piece. Makes up a litte for the P1 Cinemaquette I missed last year (which I could had for the same price....still kicking my head I missed it). I can relate. It's more frustrating with this piece because of how it worked out. A very expensive piece that seems to be an open ES. I believed there was plenty of time to arrange for this piece. $2k isn't in the couch cushions. It feels like they called an audible and just pulled the plug before they even expected to. I'm still curious to know what really happened here.
