I do too, sometimes even just to bash a terrible SS botch job like the new Thor, but I always give a valid reason, not that is just sucks because I think so. Coming into a thread for one of the best pred statues made and saying it sucks is just trolling IMO.

My opinion, as a Predator statue it's pretty cool but I'd struggle to spend that much on a, slightly bigger than, 1:4 statue based on the worst movie of the franchise.

Doubtful or not the guy has no reason to lie, Things like this happen occasionally, he got lucky. It is possible they simply misplaced one in their presumably huge warehouse.

I remember sometimes they would send out an email to people on the waitlist when they found one with a damaged box in the warehouse. Instead of converting the next person they would email everyone on the waitlist and it was first come first served. I got some emails for some long sold pieces when they used to do that.

It's nice to see some people be happy for their fellow collectors when something like this happens. It's what makes this community great! As for the naysayers. I can understand your scepticism since this is an unusually long time for a product to be converted off a wait list but as I mentioned over on Statue Forum, the person I called said this may be a statue that was set aside for a possible promotional raffle or auction and that they may have changed their mind and decided to just cash it in. She was not certain. Either way here are some pics that may help:
