it means that they will pretty much be made to order, which means I won't be buying one until someone sells it on ebay for much cheaper. All the other LSF's are open ES, so like SSMike said, this prolly will be too. SS doesn't care about the aftermarket cause they don't see any of that money; open ES make it so SS doesn't lose out on money when a statue doubles in value.

I thought they may have already done this with the alien because it dissapeared for a while and then suddenly it was available at many stores.

yeah this LSF line sucks big time. If anything there should be less made because of the price there asking. for open ES they should be much cheaper.
This will stop heaps of people buying it because its most unlikely you would ever get your money back if you decide to sell later on. why would people pay retail for a second hand if you can get a brand new 1 thats always available

well it's usually rich ppl that don't mind paying retail for them. If they lose interest in the piece and sell it for a loss, it's not a big deal for them compared to us average folks

Yeah since it's not numbered for open ES they can make as many as they want. Since there is no number on the bottom there is no way to keep track.

sideshow is rapidly losing their brand value as a highend highly limited collectible maker with those open editions, shady edition size manipulation, and all the TBDs for the other formats. On top of progressively worse paint app and QC issues.

Yeah as a company it does seem like they are moving away from the limited appeal to a more mass market, lower QC approach.

When we eventually do get a chance to order it will probably be another year before anyone actually gets it.
It will be 2013 before we get this.
